Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance Operations: Supervise day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and month-end closing activities.
Implement and maintain financial controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Understand consumer credit market trend and continue improving credit assessment end to end process by introducing latest technology and practice.
Maximize and continue improving asset from profitability point of view.
Identify data trends via deep data analytics and summarize key findings for policy implementation.
Establish formulation of overall policies related to screening standards based on comparisons and analysis of domestic and overseas products such as credit cards, instalment loans (easy payment), hire purchase, personal loans, etc.
Review credit risk management policy and framework.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve Score card and rule engine management.
Manage IL and monitor overall profitability by customer and merchant level.
Job Requirement:
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience preferably in banking / financial institutions with at least 1-year management exposure.
Result-oriented with an ability to develop and grow the department through intensive monitoring and mentoring.

Originally a stock broking company as a member of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) in 1979 under the name of Lim and Hszieh Sendirian, the company turned private on 15 March 1985, becoming Apex Securities Sdn Bhd. On 2 May 1991, Apex Securities was acquired by AEHB as part of its restructuring process and KLSE listing.
Due to the Economic Boom is Asia that occurred between the 1980s to mid-1990s, Malaysia became known as a “Tiger Economy,” causing an influx of global equity investments. It was during this period that JP Morgan Hong Kong (formally known as Jarding Fleming Hong Kong) acquired a 30% share, changing Apex Securities Sdn Bhd to JF Apex Securities Sdn Bhd on 5 March 1996. On 12 August 1997, after a successful KLSE listing, JF Apex Securities was eventually renamed JFAS. However, on 13 December 2007, JP Morgan Hong Kong ceased its shareholding rights, thereby returning full ownership to AEHB.
In October 2000, JFAS successfully obtained the licensing rights of Halim Securities, expanding business operations and the transfer of 27 remisiers, thus the commencement of its Petaling Jaya (PJ) Branch.
On 1 September 2022, JFAS is renamed as Apex Securities Berhad and is headquartered in Kajang, with branches in Petaling Jaya, Puchong, Penang, and Johor Bahru.

• To ensure branch team adheres strictly to CIMB policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliances and BNM guidelines

─ Appropriately use of approval authority for daily overdrawn amounts, waivers of late charges.
─ Reviewing and recommending credit applications with strict adherence to CIMB Bank's credit policy
