Position: Business Manager (Aesthetic Products)
Location: Malaysia
Reporting to: Head of Product & Business Development & Head of Sales & Marketing, Principal
Job Summary
The Business Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and executing marketing initiatives for the company’s aesthetic product portfolio in Malaysia. This role is an individual contributor position that requires hands-on management of sales activities, key account development, and marketing execution targeting aesthetic clinics, dermatologists, and plastic surgeons.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales and achieve revenue targets for the aesthetic product portfolio in Malaysia.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with aesthetic clinics, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medical centers.
- Manage and grow relationships with key customers and clinic chains.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with customers.
- Develop territory plans and execute sales strategies to expand market coverage.
Marketing Execution
- Plan and execute marketing activities such as workshops, seminars, and product demonstrations for aesthetic practitioners.
- Work with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to increase product awareness and clinical adoption.
- Support local marketing campaigns, digital promotions, and product launches.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, aesthetic conferences, and training events.
Product Training & Support
- Provide product training to doctors, clinic staff, and distributors when required.
- Support clinical use of products and address customer queries related to product application.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends within the aesthetic industry.
- Gather market feedback and provide insights to management for product positioning and strategy.
Reporting
- Maintain sales pipeline and customer database.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market updates.
- Track marketing activity outcomes and sales performance.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD), Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Marketing, or related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in aesthetic, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales.
- Experience dealing with aesthetic clinics, dermatologists, or plastic surgeons is preferred.
- Proven ability to independently manage a territory and achieve sales targets.
Skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Good understanding of the aesthetic clinic market in Malaysia.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and occasionally to Taiwan for business requirements.[福蘇1]
