Product Communications Senior Manager (Rare Disease)

In this vital role the Product Communications Senior Manager (Rare Disease) will manage the development and implementation of communications initiatives supporting Amgen’s medicine for uncontrolled gout and efforts in the rheumatology and nephrology communities.
Responsibilities include working closely with the senior director, product communications (Rare Disease) - as well as across functions (e.g. marketing, advocacy, medical, clinical) - to develop and implement communications plans and strategies. In addition, this role will manage social media strategy as it relates to social media platforms supporting patients and caregivers who are seeking information about gout.

Doctorate degree and 2 years of pharma/healthcare communications or public relations experience
Master’s degree and 4 years of pharma/healthcare communications or public relations experience
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of pharma/healthcare communications or public relations experience
Associate’s degree and 10 years of pharma/healthcare communications or public relations experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of pharma/healthcare communications or public relations experience
