OBJECTIVES

• To complete the last phase of start-up of the new plant
• To manage the technical mid-term operation subjects to meet business objectives with the best economics.
• To ensure HSEQ best in class performances
• To support people in operation team, and to foster collaboration with support departments.

TECHNICAL SCOPE

• Support for technical issues, especially for recurring problems. Participates to all optimisation of the systems. Leads/ participates in the Task Force and propose change initiatives.
• Preparation and monitoring of turnaround and technical shutdown (sections or units): works lists, provisioning operations, planning, help to coordinate work permits and follow up action.
• Technical support to production superintendent and supervisor in terms of production/operation parameters management.
• Perform daily reporting of plant performance and/ or production figures.
• Assist Production Manager to perform month end closing in SAP.

Work with other departments on mid-term technical topics:

• Process Team for trials, test-run, risk analysis
• Technical Services for changes and capex projects, reliability issues preventive ,maintenance plans.

Other mid-term activities (participation):

• Updating of the training guides, provides training
• Updating of the PID and Functional Analysis

HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT, QUALITY AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

• Assist Production Manager to implement rules / procedures / good practices based on Arkema's Integrated Management System
• Detect and address potential risks in HSEQ's field
• Involved in emergency plan development, emergency event management and investigation
• Implements improvement programs in accordance with site directions and priorities in HSEQ's field

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, with minimum 2 years experience in Refinery, Oil & Petrochemical and/or Chemical Plant operations regime
• Significant experience in complex continuous chemical processes will be an advantage
• Practical knowledge in chemical engineering
• Risks management related to hazardous chemical process
• Knowledge of IT tools for tracking units performance
• Cross-functional management (project management)
• Good report writing skill
• Safety and cost optimization consciousness.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up camera, tripod, lights and grip equipment in the process of filming.

The Research Engineer will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to design and build desirable microstructure to enhance mechanical properties of steels by additive manufacturing.

The job scope of this position is:

• Conducting literature reviews and understanding state of the art
• Planning and implementing experiments
• Developing simulation models to guide microstructural engineering
• Analysing the experimental and simulation data
• Writing progress reports and research papers

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Materials Science or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of metallurgy and microstructural engineering is highly required
• Expertise in microstructural characterisation techniques (e.g. TEM, EBSD and FIB) and mechanical testing

As L3 production Engineer, you will be expected to work in shifted time, with rotation every 2 weeks There are 3 shifts :

Morning : from 7am to 4pm

Afternoon : from 2pm to 11pm (day light saving season : from 3pm to 12am)

Night : from 5pm to 2am (day light saving season : from 6pm to 3am)

You will rotate on these 3 shifts every 2 weeks in general.

Qualifications and Profile

The position requires a minimum of 3 years relevant experiences as a production support or at least infrastructure support or development role.

Functional

• No functional skills required. Experience in a banking environment in obviously a plus.

Technical

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the studios are in order, including studio set, equipment to ensure a smooth production of the News & Current Affairs programmes for CNA and all news bulletins transmission on Mediacorp channels.
