The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is responsible for the financial planning, performance analysis, and management reporting for the shopping centre and property businesses. The role involves managing the financial aspects, creating strategies, developing key business metrics and operational decisions while ensuring business targets are met. The Manager is also tasked to identify financial risks of the businesses, develop crisis management plan, and implement mitigation measures.
Your assignment
- Budget Development: Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts for shopping centre operations, supported by economic factors, market analysis, and business needs.
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to align with business objectives and long-term goals.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate shopping centre performance, identify trends, and provide insights for optimizing profitability and efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Strategic Translation: Translate organizational strategy into actionable business plans and establish measurable targets for continuous improvement.
- Expense Control: Monitor and control operating expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines, and coordinate centralized cost allocation exercises.
- Capital Investment Evaluation: Evaluate potential capital investments and expansion projects for shopping centres, conducting cost-benefit analyses and providing financial recommendations.
- Process Efficiency: Drive automation and efficiency improvements within the Business Navigation department, developing, maintaining, and revising policies, procedures, processes, and internal controls to ensure proper governance practices and adherence.
