Job Description

-Draft, review, negotiate a range of contracts for company’s business. 
Legal advisory on compliance matters such as Competition Law, Data Protection, Labor, Consumer Protection, Intellectual Property, Anti-Corruption and Business Ethics. 
-Manage compliance issues, conduct compliance training and other compliance related matters.
-Manage disputes like litigation, arbitration, mediation etc and coordinate with external counsels.
-Identify and analyze legal trends and new legislations which are related to the company's business.
-Support the General Counsel on all other Legal & Compliance related matters.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Law and admitted to the Malaysian Bar.
At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Worked in law firm and/or as in-house counsel.
Excellent communications skills and proficient in English (written and oral). 
Independent at work and is highly motivated.
Excellent interpersonal skills and is resourceful.
Possess commercial acumen.
Working knowledge of litigation (both civil and criminal). Although Counsel will not be expected to attend court (as Advocate), he/she should have good knowledge to advise company and instruct/manage external lawyers.
Experience in handling legal compliance risk issues.

Roles Summary / Purpose 

• The primary purpose of the Retails Sales Manager – responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.

Retails Sales Manager

• To meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping Company competitive and innovative and to identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Achieve company sales target by outlet, sales staff, brand and product through weekly monitoring.
• Implement company policy to all branches and enforce all company policies are carried out at all branches.
• Monitor and ensure stock aging and stock turnover day meets target set by company.
• Formulate accurate yearly target plan & mid-term (3 months) road map by analyzing last year performance, supplier direction, market situation and competitor information to forecast future road map.
• Plan and create sales activities with Marcom Department to increase sales, market share and customer loyalty.
• Responds to customer complaints and comments.
• Attend company road show events during setup and throughout the event.
• Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.
• Regularly check with employees on their progress on goals; offer coaching or assistance, or revise goals as necessary by conduct short, regular meetings to discuss and record milestones, accomplishments, successes and challenges. 
• To carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management/Superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in retail industry is compulsory.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
• Experience managing a team and working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Possess own transport and willing to travel within Klang Valley Area.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in international business management and have a proven track record in successfully executing tourism projects. This role will involve liaising with government agencies, stakeholders, and project funders to ensure the successful implementation and management of the Geopark Tourism initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to promote Geopark Tourism and enhance visitor experiences.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Collaborate with international partners, tourism organizations, and industry experts to leverage resources and expertise for the advancement of the project.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the tourism industry and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on them.
• Direct and supervise a team of professionals and consultants involved in various aspects of the project, including marketing, operations, and community engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance against established goals and objectives, and implement corrective measures as necessary to ensure project success.
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events related to Geopark Tourism and serve as a spokesperson for the project.
• Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management and project stakeholders on the progress and achievements of the Geopark Tourism initiative.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all aspects of project implementation and management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in international business management, particularly in the tourism sector, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve common goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, both domestically and internationally.
• In-depth knowledge of the tourism industry, including market trends, customer preferences, and best practices in destination management.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and collaborate with government agencies, funding organizations, and community stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Company Secretary in secretarial compliance work for public listed company and its group of companies (“Group”) which include preparation of resolutions, maintenance of statutory records and lodgement of requisite statutory returns to the relevant authorities.
