Roles Summary / Purpose 

• The primary purpose of the Retails Sales Manager – responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those to plans to the upper management by developing the team through motivation, counselling, skills development and product knowledge development.

• To meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping Company competitive and innovative and to identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

 

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Achieve company sales target by outlet, sales staff, brand and product through weekly monitoring.
• Implement company policy to all branches and enforce all company policies are carried out at all branches.
• Monitor and ensure stock aging and stock turnover day meets target set by company.
• Formulate accurate yearly target plan & mid-term (3 months) road map by analyzing last year performance, supplier direction, market situation and competitor information to forecast future road map.
• Plan and create sales activities with Marcom Department to increase sales, market share and customer loyalty.
• Responds to customer complaints and comments.
• Attend company road show events during setup and throughout the event.
• Deal with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development.
• Regularly check with employees on their progress on goals; offer coaching or assistance, or revise goals as necessary by conduct short, regular meetings to discuss and record milestones, accomplishments, successes and challenges. 
• To carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management/Superior from time to time.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in retail industry is compulsory.

Job Description:

To provide excellent customer service
Proactively follow-up on customer queries & needs
Achieve the agreed standards on the sales floor, cashier counter and service zone at all time
General store operations – including performing attractive visual merchandising, managing inventory properly, stock taking, keeping the store clean & organized and administrative paperwork duties
Handling of cash and credit cards with the correct procedures, achieving high level of efficiency and accuracy
Keep updated of latest products or trends in fashion in order to possess in-depth product knowledge and communicate to customers effectively
Act as a fashion & beauty advisor to suggest products and promote product benefits to customers in order to drive sales
Develop strong connections with customer to generate loyal customers and repeat transactions
Lead and manage team members towards better income
Perform any other duties to be assigned by superior from time to time

 

Requirements:

Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred
Experiences in fashion retail industry would be an added advantage
Well-groomed, presentable and passion to fashion
Motivated team player with cheerful disposition and strong desire to achieve
Possess good communications skills and be sales driven
Must be able to work retail hours. (i.e Shift work, Public Holidays and weekends)
Must be able to work in Chan Sow Lin, KL area
