Job Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, configuration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of CCTV, Card Access, Intrusion Detection Systems, networking, storage, hardware, and software.

Attend to customers’ queries, support, services, and issues.

Involved in cabling, wiring, mounting, and termination works.

Report site details, work done, project progress status, customer requests or feedback, and issues to the reporting Manager/Supervisor.

Update the documentation and provide operational training.

Liaise/manage with suppliers/vendors and outsourced contractors for delivery works.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Computer/Telecommunication, others)

3 years of relevant work experience in a similar industry.

Possessed a driving license with own transport (Car).

Basic knowledge in cabling, networking, electronics, & computer.

Strong analytical, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Global Cyber Security Operations team. This role requires an experienced security professional responsible for executing and supporting cybersecurity operations globally but with a focus on our manufacturing facility. This role has a primary focus on global insider risk management and data loss prevention (DLP), while also providing hands‑on operational support for local manufacturing risks. You will work closely with our Security Operations Center (SOC), incident response teams, and other IT stakeholders to stay ahead of emerging threats and ensure we’re able to build great products securely.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Insider Risk Management & Data Protection

• Assist in the management and configuration of Sandisk governance controls related to data security
• Execute day‑to‑day operations of insider risk management and data security controls using Microsoft Purview, MIP, IRM, and DLP technologies.
• Monitor, triage, and investigate insider risk alerts and data loss events using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and SIEM tooling, following defined procedures and escalation paths.
• Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of insider risk and data protection incidents, including evidence handling and recommended follow‑up actions.
• Support tuning and refinement of DLP and insider risk policies to improve signal quality and reduce false positives, in coordination with platform owners and senior analysts.

Endpoint Detection, Response & Manufacturing Security

• Perform hands‑on monitoring, investigation, and response activities using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and CrowdStrike Falcon in an enterprise environment.
• Investigate endpoint‑based alerts affecting manufacturing office systems, engineering workstations, and privileged users, correlating activity across EDR, identity, and data signals.
• Support incident response efforts impacting the manufacturing site, including containment actions, evidence collection, and post‑incident documentation.
• Maintain awareness of manufacturing‑specific risks, including engineering workflows, shared systems, and IP‑sensitive environments.

Automation, Scripting & Analysis

• Use scripting and basic programming to support investigations, data analysis, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain simple scripts or queries (e.g., PowerShell, Python, KQL) to assist with alert triage, log analysis, data validation, and reporting.
• Leverage scripting to reduce repetitive manual tasks while operating within established security tooling and change controls.

As Security Manager, you will lead and spearhead all these initiatives below as mentioned. • Ensure the effective implementation of all operational security procedures within the hotel.
• Management and security oversight of all contractors, suppliers or vendors working on property.
• To maintain a close dialogue and relationship with local security authorities.
• Ensure that security officers provide a courteous and professional service to all customers, staff, vendors and suppliers.
• To vet the daily functions and VIP arrival list and to ensure that security officers are deployed as appropriate
• To account for the master keys of the property and their movements as well as key control in general.
• To keep the hotel senior management informed on all matters relating to the Security aspects of the hotel on a daily basis.
• Review and suggest adjustment to process based on current/future environments.

Incident/Emergency Handling

• Incidents and Emergencies are emotionally charged situation, particularly when there are allegations of theft.  All guests, staff or other people involved must be dealt with sensitively and professionally so as not to inflame the situation.
• To professionally conduct full inquiries and follow-up activities for all security related incidents.
• As required, to carry out formal searches on employees, locker rooms and place of work as directed by hotel management, with the presence of Human Resources Executive as a witness.  All people interviewed or searched are to be presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
• To organize the Security Fire Fighting Team in the event of an emergency.

Safety Function

•  Lead to uphold safety laws and regulations in Malaysia, create a safe work environment, and prevent job-related incidents at the hotel/resort. This includes conducting safety inspections, identifying potential hazards, and executing preventive measures.
• Train and inspire team members to follow our company's occupational health and safety protocols. Be responsible for investigating work-related incidents and injuries, providing comprehensive reports, and suggesting preventative actions.
• Additional duties involve gathering safety statistics, preparing reports, and carrying out other safety tasks.

As Information Security Analyst 3, you will be critical in advancing Sandisk’s information security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) program. You will develop and implement global, company-wide information security risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures. You will manage and assess information security risks and develop robust risk management strategies in partnership with global operations and manufacturing teams. You will collaborate with guidance and analysis to enhance our information security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement global enterprise-wide risk management frameworks that aligns with industry standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST etc). 
• Act as a liaison between Information Security and Sandisk teams in Penang to ensure alignment of cybersecurity policies with operational and manufacturing requirements. 
• Perform technical and business process risk assessment activities to identify, evaluate, and prioritize information security risks across the organization, including threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts to information and technology assets. 
• Develop and drive implementation of effective technical and non-technical risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. 
• Collaborate across the organization to ensure the integration of risk management practices into organizational processes and projects. 
• Analyze security data to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement. 
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate security audits and assessments.

Supervises Security personnel on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

• In the absence of the Safety/Security Manager, functions on assigned shift as primary on center contact for on-duty supervisors, law enforcement agencies and other on-duty staff for immediate response to situations requiring Safety and Security staff attention.
• Continually makes physical inspections and security checks of grounds and facility and documents results.
• Performs safety/security officer duties and provides supervision to staff to protect life and property against theft, vandalism, misappropriation, fire, flood, or similar disaster on assigned shift in compliance with government, corporate, and management directives.
• Informs the Safety/Security Manager or designee of anything that warrants immediate attention, including major incidents, extreme emergencies, unscheduled arrival of important visitors, etc.
• Investigates incidents on center and provides clear and accurate reports.
• Controls disturbances and assists staff in de-escalating situations.
• Completes required security logs, documentation, and records accurately and on time.
• Accurately logs employees, visitors, vendors, and students as they enter and exit the center.
• Adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
• Fosters and sustains a conducive environment, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect.
• Attends all required staff training opportunities.

This position is responsible in ensuring a safe environment for the hotel employees and guests and safeguards the assets of the hotel.

• Perform duties as assigned according to the Duty Roster prepared by the Security Manager. Deployment may include the following posts:

  • Security Control Room
  • Lobby
  • Loading Bay
  • Patrolling or Observation
  • Back of House
  • VIP Parking
  • Any other position where security operations are needed

• Ensure all security systems are functioning properly and take immediate corrective action if faults are detected.

• Assist management, employees, and guests in a manner aligned with protection and prevention objectives.

• Coordinate with various hotel departments and government agencies on routine matters and during emergencies.

• Monitor Back of House areas, paying special attention to unauthorized entry and exit points.

• Maintain accurate records in Log Books for future reference.

• Keep the Manager or Crisis Management Team informed of the latest developments during crisis situations.

• Conduct inventory checks of keys, passes, walkie-talkies, pagers, and other accountable security equipment.

• Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the Hotel Security Room and surrounding areas.

- Oversee the overall operations of the Fire Command Centre within the retails units and ensure all related emergencies are attended and effectively dealt with in a timely manner.

- Support in the overall day to day management of the Fire Alarm Protection, Intrusion Detection, Electronic Access Control, CCTV surveillance and any other related systems.

- Monitor and implement crowd control / traffic management plan where required aligned to established procedures. 

- Provide and maintain proper and legible records in respect of events, activities and occurrences.

 - Assist in all responses as stipulated in the Store Emergency Management Plan to alarms, medical emergencies, fires and other similar matters, evacuating premises and contacting appropriate emergency services if required including administration of First Aid if required and notify appropriate stakeholders (Duty Manager, First Aider, ERT, etc.) in the event of accidents, emergencies or other incidents until the arrival of the proper authorities.

- Responsible in identifying potential problems related to safety and security and ensure prompt reporting to the Safety & Security Team for resolution, including, but not limited to malfunction in facilities, evacuation routes obstructions, safety and health hazards in and around the premises, etc.

- Report any occurrences of accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions promptly to the Duty Manager and Safety & Security Team.

- Assist to carry out specific deployment tasks (Patrol, cash escort, checkout, loss prevention strategies, etc.) and ensure that all tasks are carried out effectively and promptly.

- Ensure all incidents are properly reported and escalated in the incident reporting system, ensuring proper documentation and follow up actions.

- Assist / participate in periodic safety & security systems testing and evacuation drills at established intervals.
