The Opportunity:
A well-designed secure network is critical to move data and enable the Department of Defense (DoD) to achieve their mission, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? That’s why we need you, a Security Automation Engineer who knows how to utilize your craft to facilitate the needs of the DoD. As a Security Automation Engineer on our team, you’ll work with the DoD to develop a reliable, secure network to support critical missions.
You’ll collaborate with SMEs, customers, vendors, and users to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. You’ll then share your expertise during the planning of acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, you’ll put your hardware and software talents to good use. As a Security Automation Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll design and test new automated security capabilities in a lab environment and implement newly tested security capabilities into production environments. You will need to support implementation teams with remote network firewall and security appliance support. You will also need to be able to identify and support security requirements for switched and routed networks and implement network security best practice configuration and associated hardware and software. What You’ll Work On:
Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises.
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas, and leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

You Have:
8+ years of experience with network security and the design of IT systems or networks for large commercial enterprises or government agencies
4+ years of experience with firewall and enterprise security design, including device hardening, intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, firewalls, internet protocol security, vulnerability assessment, and intrusion detection
4+ years of experience with Python scripting
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, and Cisco or Juniper firewalls
Secret clearance
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 3 months of hire
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience designing and implementing Cloud-native and over the top networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of DoD IT and Cloud security policies, including STIGs and DoD Cloud SRG, and how to apply them to the design and implementation of Cloud solutions
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, prior publications, and speaking engagements in industry or vendor forums
Clearance:

The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). Job Responsibilities:
· Drive the fortification and optimization of the wallet security system, including but not limited to security policies, patching vulnerabilities, and monitoring unusual activities.
· Responsible for the daily operational maintenance of the wallet system, including but not limited to node deployment, on-chain data synchronization, and system backup, etc.
· Provide reasonable and effective suggestions for the existing wallet system framework, assist in upgrading the security organizational framework, participate in the design and implementation of security policies, to ensure the security of the exchange wallet system.
· Design and collaborate on the development of a security framework with rational security logic.
· Enrich and optimize existing rules, participate in the emergency response to daily security incidents, as well as the maintenance of security systems.
· Continuously track the latest technologies and threats in the field of blockchain and digital asset security, providing professional advice and guidance to the team.
· Proactively identify and resolve potential system risks, improving the overall security awareness and capabilities of the team.
Qualification Requirements:
· Have a sense of infrastructure security, familiar with common security vulnerabilities and attack methods.
· Capable of independently developing, writing, and maintaining a security framework.
· Familiar with common Linux commands and tools, penetration testing processes and tools.
· Familiar with security risk management, security node upgrades.
· Familiar with WEB3 development technology, with priority given to those who have experience in Solidity smart contract development.
· Have a deep understanding of blockchain technology and digital assets, familiar with the application skills of common scenarios on the chain.
· Good communication and written expression abilities, able to effectively communicate and cooperate with colleagues in different positions.

· Experience in security framework design.

Perform and coordinate, with other team members, real-time and forensic log and EDR monitoring and analysis to provide network, data, and asset security on all cloud-based solutions for Sanford Health. Complete, configure, and tune vulnerability assessments, and report results to application and asset owners. Provide consulting services to owners relating to response activities. Perform and coordinate on Incident Response activities including the collection, preservation, and interpretation of digital evidence.
Build, administer, and support the Security tools, processes, and services for all Sanford cloud-based environments. Provide guidance on data protection, intrusion detection/provention, container and network security to support a zero-trust architecture. Identify and complete improvements and metrics to Cloud Security processes and services. Prioritize and complete tickets according to impact to Sanford Health business functions. Provide security consulting services to other Sanford Health groups.
Mentor other Security team members on cloud tools and processes. Coordinate and participate in activities with other IT Security groups by providing aid and consulting when needed. Works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth of knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms processes. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Regularly presented with new assignments and projects that require the application of independent judgement/interpretation of policies/practices.
Qualifications
