Job Description: Printing and Administrative Support Officer

Authority: KRANJL SECONDARY SCHOOL

Location Address: 61 Choa Chu Kang Street 51 Singapore 689333

Duration: This is a contractual position with a contract period from May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, with the option to extend for a further period from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, based on performance and mutual agreement.

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Fridays: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.

Position Overview: Kranjl Secondary School is seeking a competent Printing and Administrative Support Officer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing printing and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our school's administrative functions. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform photocopying, laminating, binding, and shredding of documents as requested by staff and teachers.
2. Monitor and maintain adequate supplies in the Printing Room, including toner, staples, paper, laminating films, and binding rings. Prepare request forms and stationery for staff use.
3. Ensure the Printing Room is kept clean and organized at all times.
4. Attend to photocopier breakdowns in staff rooms, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with vendors for maintenance and repairs.
5. Perform administrative duties such as sorting, distributing, and filing documents, attending to walk-ins, and answering phone calls.
6. Assist with any other administrative tasks assigned by the school to support the overall functioning of the administrative office.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Preferably, prior experience in printing and administrative duties.
• Preferably, at least a Pass in WISE English Language Module 4, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated traits such as service excellence, a service-oriented attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and efficiency in meeting work deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
