Job Summary
The College of Arts and Humanities at Lindenwood University invites applications for an associate professor / professor of Writing and Department Head of the Master of Fine Arts in Writing program.
Qualified applicants will possess a terminal degree (MFA, PhD) in Writing / Creative Writing. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 5 courses (15 credit hours) over 12 months with 5 alternative deployments for department head duties. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching online. All Lindenwood faculty members are expected to advise and mentor students, continue to develop their expertise through research and scholarship, and participate in faculty governance and campus life.
This position is a full-time, 12-month faculty position that will begin on August 15, 2024. The Department Head of the Master of Fine Arts in Writing program is responsible for supporting the college dean in overseeing and assisting students in their academic learning. This position leads and shapes the ongoing strategic direction of the department to include curriculum oversight, assessment, evaluation, and improvement.
The successful candidate will be a team player who is deeply committed to the craft of teaching, creative work, and the work of the program. They will be a published author, inspiring teacher, and strategic leader who is prepared to work with a broad team to deliver high-quality individualized education, experience, and support to the program’s students.

The Department of English at The Pennsylvania State University at University Park, Pennsylvania, USA, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Creative Writing (Fiction) to begin August 2024. Responsibilities include teaching two courses per semester to both undergraduates and those enrolled in the BA/MA graduate program.
The BA/MA program offers an integrated undergraduate/graduate degree in English with a creative writing concentration in poetry and/or prose. Students complete the program in two years—their senior year and the additional M.A. year.

We are looking for an exceptional Technical Writing Specialist to join our growing Docs team. You will join a team to support the documentation needs of upcoming software. You will work across written content, in-product and in-context search, and visual assets.

Minimum Requirements: Ph.D in Rhetoric and Composition, Writing Studies, or a closely related field in hand by August 2024.
Administrative responsibilities include:
Application instructions: Initial screening of applications will begin mid-October but the position will remain open until filled. We request that applicants submit a cover letter and CV. After initial review, selected candidates will be contacted for an interview and departmental presentation. At which point, candidates may also be asked for additional documents such as an administrative philosophy (which should address assessment of writing programs among other ideas) and a teaching portfolio (which may include recent syllabi, assignments, and course evaluations).
