Position: Operations Support Specialist

Responsibilities:

· Support and execute operational functions as part of the operations team to optimise efficiency and results.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role requires the individual to oversee Customer Support Service (CSS) team to support 1-Net core business, operations and services with 24x7 service availability at multiple sites of Data Centre (DC), including management of DC network infrastructure, network operation/services and service delivery.

This role also requires the individual to be responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures that interfaces with the sales process, various services provisioning and customer requirement support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team of network engineers for the operations and management of 1-Net DC Core Network infrastructure, including peering network, DC Hosting network, Cross Connect services, Data Center Corridor service and data center MMR management. QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge and experience with networking protocols, including BGP, VXLAN EVPN, OSPF, IOX-XR, NX-OS
• Structured Network Infrastructure for Layer 2 & 3 support.
• Certification in CCNA, CCNP is highly preferred
• Shift work required

Job Description

This position will work closely with Marcom managers to assist with these duties:

• Daily Media Monitoring and to generate weekly report.
• Write articles and communication materials to positively profile key highlights of programmes’ activities or announcements.
• Working with external consultant on collateral development as part of the brand refresh.
• Design ad-hoc marketing collaterals where required.
• Logistics preparation for corporate visits and on-site management.
• Administrative tasks where required.

This is an hourly-rated position.

Qualifications

• Experience in marcomms roles such as media relations, communications planning, digital and content marketing, publications production (either full-time / part-time / internship) and possess a relevant Degree, Diploma or “A” Level.
• Good command of English – strong verbal, writing and editing skills.
• Ability to do basic design work and use design software will be an advantage (ie Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
• A meticulous and resourceful individual. Able to learn, work and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
