Part time 30 hours per week. The candidate will be working six hour support shifts (twenty four hours) and one office shift working (six hours) per week.
The support shifts will be a mixture of AM and PM shifts including working alternate weekends.
Appley Cliff is home for 13 adults with physical disabilities. Our home is in the popular seaside resort of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. We’re right next to the Rhylston Gardens with its mini-golf course, and are a short walk from pubs, cafes, a medical centre and a dentist.
As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire you will become part of a fantastic team. You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, lead with passion and enthusiasm promoting positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
You will ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support and assistance with daily life tasks. Supporting our Person Centred approach, you will ensure maximum independence for our customers and helping them to achieve individual aspirations.

To be successful in this role you will:
• Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Have experience in supervising a team.
• Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
• Be experienced in working within a care setting.
• Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.

The Recruitment Co is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader. This an exciting opportunity to join an Internationally recognised Manufacturer in the Nutritional Supplement Industry.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £13.64ph with a 10% shift allowance on afternoon shifts (£15ph)
