The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic and driven Design & Technology (D&T) teacher on a long term basis, to start ASAP. The successful applicant will be working across both key stage 3 / KS3 and Key stage 4 / KS4 and must be able to motivate their students through engaging and dynamic learning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the department.
• Actively participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
• A relevant degree in Design & Technology (D&T) or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in Design & Technology (D&T).
• Demonstrated experience as a Design & Technology (D&T) at the secondary school level (experience at Sixth Form level is advantageous but not essential).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
