Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee and keep track of project progress and identify possible delay events with mitigation solutions such as re-sequencing of work, etc
· Lead the construction team for all site activities.
· Plan and lead /coordinate all subcontractors.
· Coordinate with Site Safety Team to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
· Review and comment on the subcontractor’s construction plans and programs.
· Present to Clients and Consultants for weekly reports, site progress, and planning
· Liaise with Clients and consultants to resolve site issues.
· Support tender project for site construction method, schedule, manpower and equipment planning, and technical proposal.
Job Requirements:
· Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering or equivalent
· Familiar with Singapore Codes and Practices
· 10+ years related experience as a Project Manager in the structural steel industry.
· Developing budgets for getting finances from the steel project management to fund the expenditures needed for the project.
· Proven managing large, multiple commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
· General knowledge of 3D modelling / Tekla system
· Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines.
· Meets and confers with Owner, Architect, Engineers, Contractors, Detailers, and workshop to verify the accuracy and completeness of all construction drawings.
· Monitor compliance of work with workplace safety and health regulations
· Coordinating various project activities such as design and engineering, procurement, site activities, etc.
· Monitoring the project progress for taking corrective actions and appraising the steel project management about the progress.
· Maintenance of quality of work during project execution to reduce the rework if it cannot be avoided.
· Identifying roadblocks coming in the way of project execution well in time and finding solutions for avoiding delays in the project execution.
· Liaising with the project stakeholders, which include the regulatory authorities.
· Singaporean and PR preferred.
