Our client is a renowned provider of bespoke interior solutions for blue-chip companies. With an end-to-end approach encompassing design, production, and installation, they offer a comprehensive turnkey solution. Combining in-house and subcontracted production, they ensure flexibility to meet their clients' unique needs.
About the Role:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work immediately on one of our client’s key accounts due to the maternity leave of the current Account manager. Prior to their leave, there will be a handover period to allow for a seamless transition for both you and the client.
The company sees you as a crucial player in their growth going forward and already have plans in place for you to move to another important client.
As an Account Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships. Reporting to the Contracts Director, you'll lead an internal Account Team and ensure clients receive excellent service and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients
Manage an internal team of 4 professionals
Conduct progress meetings and site visits
Meet client goals and deadlines
Collaborate with the Project Manager for project management
Monitor task progress and provide key reporting
Handle multiple accounts efficiently
Travel within the UK and EU as needed
Attend site briefs and document requirements
Maintain effective email communication
Keep track of important documents and schedules
Collaborate with various departments within the company
Ensure seamless service by coordinating with the operations team
Adhere to H&S and ISO procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
They’re looking for an experienced professional with the following qualifications:
Proven client interaction experience
Team management skills
Proactive and confident approach
Strong organisational abilities
Project management expertise
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Previous account or client management experience (preferred)
Industry expertise in retail fixtures, FMCG, or related fields
Manufacturing knowledge is a plus
Understanding of the design process is beneficial
Education/Qualifications/Certifications:
GCSE C grade in English & Mathematics
A-level qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory
