General position summary:

The Responsible Person (Senior Manager), GDP Operations Quality, Benelux Role is responsible for ensuring the quality system is in place meeting the requirements of GDP and act as both Responsible Person (RP) on the Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA) of Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Belgium) and Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Netherlands). Responsible Person Benelux role works with International QA Management team supporting continuous improvement initiatives and projects. In addition, this role helps to establish an appropriate QMS to support any aspects of the GMPs required for supply of ATMP in Benelux and acts as the commercial quality contact ensuring local compliance to the MAH and GMP requirements.

This Position Reports to: Associate Director, GDP Operational Quality

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong working relationships with International Supply Chain, Regulatory, Technical Operations and the Global quality functions.
• Work cross-functionally with all levels to foster exceptional collaboration.
• In cooperation with International QA team, establishes and maintains corporate quality objectives, actively promotes an effective quality management system (QMS) in Belgium and the Netherlands.

• Provide QA oversight of all GDP activities in accordance with local requirements; ensure product procurement, storage and distribution are managed in accordance with GDP requirements.
• Build effective relationships with 3PL QA in order to manage issue resolution, process improvements, returns handling, KPI reporting and ensuring overall quality oversight.
• In cooperation with supply chain, ensure that Vertex Pharmaceuticals (Europe) Limited supply chain maps are maintained for all distribution channels, including export countries.
• Proactively partner with other commercial departments to ensure quality aspects of new launches are properly handled. Set up effective collaborations with functional areas such as Regulatory, Supply Chain, local country manager.
• Lead local affiliate Management Reviews.
• Provide guidance and monitor quality issues related to products and GDP to resolution within the company and with external parties including escalation to senior management where applicable.
• Raise and review documentation including change controls, deviations, CAPAs, SOPs and specifications relating to distribution activities. Provide training if required.
• Maintain, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures for Quality Assurance and Distribution related activities ensuring compliance with GDP regulations.
• Ensure Quality Technical Agreements are in place for all outsourced activities.
• Ensure supplier audits are performed as per scheduled frequency, participating as lead auditor/audit team member, where required.
• Contribute to defining standard GDP quality KPIs and to review quality indicators with recommendation for actions for improvement.
• Host inspections by local Health Authorities.  
• Provide support to third party warehouse activities from a quality perspective.
• Assess impact and communicate Regulatory Intelligence information. Provide advice to senior management when required and must have personal knowledge of all the relevant GDP guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of global regulatory requirements for cell and gene therapy products and ensure compliance.

This role also works closely in collaboration with various QA functions to manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality operational processes for commercial phase cell and gene therapies.

KEY DUTIES
• To work alongside the Clerical Officer and Deputy Director of Governance providing administrative support harmonising Policies and Procedures following the merger of STHK and Southport & Ormskirk Hospital Trusts.
• Support the Admin Assistant with the harmonisation of Patient Information Leaflets following the merger of STHK and Southport & Ormskirk Hospital Trusts
• Assist in the management of the Trust Policies and Procedures database and Patient Information Leaflet database, chasing and updating as required
• General office duties including monitoring the Document Control inbox, answering the phone, discussing queries relating to policies, procedures and patient leaflets assisting where possible and escalating to line manager when necessary
• Communicating with all levels of staff/patients and relatives in a polite and pleasant manner including dealing with telephone enquiries and requests and taking appropriate action
• Deal with bookings for the Interpreter Service including face to face, telephone, virtual and video requests using the service provider’s portal and database
• Monitor the Quality & Risk Admin Team Inbox and take action as required including placing orders using SBS/Oracle
• Any other duties required by Quality & Risk Office Manager

Applications are invited for an Administrative Officer (Equality) (1.0 FTE) to join the Glasgow School of Art within the Mackintosh School of Architecture.

As Administrative Officer, you will join a busy team within a teaching department which delivers courses at Degree, Diploma and Postgraduate level.

The post holder will work as part of a small team, providing administrative support for all aspects of academic quality assurance and compliance by: ensuring MSA aligns with academic standards and quality assurance processes at GSA; overseeing PSRB compliance; overseeing administrative aspects of student misconduct cases; Board of Studies committee management; overseeing processing of and providing advice/guidance in respect of GDPR/Data Protection compliance.

The role will provide administrative support for recruitment and admissions, course delivery, assessments, student feedback, visiting lecturers/critics, study trips as well as committee servicing for programme/School committees. Educated to Higher Grade level (or equivalent) and/or have relevant experience in an administrative position, preferably within an HE/FE environment, you will have knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office applications.

You will be required to support our client with 4-8 store deliveries nationwide.

You will be responsible for the delivery of caged goods and tail lifting cages at each stop.

We ask that applicants for this role meet the following criteria:

• You must have at least one year of experience on the road in a HGV
• A full HGV 2 licence, in date CPC and digi tacho.
• You require to have proven track record of a positive, punctual and hard working attitude towards work.
• Experience to use a tail lift, roll cages on and off a truck at each stop.

This role offers ongoing work!

Your shift will start around 03:00 for the duration of 8 to 10 hours

You will be working Monday to Sunday. Rest days will be required to work around operational needs due to this weekend flexibility is crucial.

In return for your hard work, your hourly rate will be £14.91.

In addition to your hourly rate we also pay 28 days paid leave (Pro Rata)

We are currently recruiting for Hygiene Team Members to join the busy team at the North Scarle Lincoln factory. The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of operations by maintain the business' high levels of cleanliness to maintain excellent standards in food safety and quality.

You will be preforming various cleaning roles to maintain high levels within warehouse production and distributions. Role will also include the occasional working at heights.

Previous industrial cleaning background is advantageous.

Raising to £12.75 or £153.00 when signed off as an experienced worker within their factory operations.
