The Role Responsibilities

· Based in Singapore, this is an exciting role that combines strategic, and execution focus for an experienced professional who has strong domain expertise in project management

· Reporting to the Head of HR Singapore, Brunei & Australia, the role holder will be at the forefront of shaping an elevated talent management experience for our SG key talent segments, developing, and deploying skills where they are needed most.

Strategy

· Partner with key stakeholders to influence, shape, and deliver cross functional talent management priorities that drive value across the Bank, with specific emphasis on Growing Our Own Timber through effective talent identification, development, and retention strategies.

· Responsible for managing all aspects of the respective HR projects, through its lifecycle, to agreed budget and quality:

· Responsible for managing the delivery of and providing direction within a project, working closely with the relevant Business leads and wider HR stakeholders

· Ensures scope, approach, solution design, timelines, costs, benefits and all other key aspects of the project are documented.

· Ensures the Business Accountable Executive (AE) and the Investment/Steering Committee/)/Refinement Forum(RF) is made aware of any material risks, issues, cost, benefit, and scope changes.

Business

· Provide strategic advisory, subject matter expertise and consulting capability to support the delivery of the SG HR projects linked to 2024 SG people agenda/objectives and key results

· Partner with relevant HR stakeholders to drive consistency and impact of SG talent management and redeployment practices, processes, and key messages across the Bank

· Manage conflicts in stakeholder expectations, employee experience and HR good practice in process solution design across multiple workstreams.

· Understand risks, business imperatives and business context when facilitating decision making impacted by the process re-design, create solution options, and make recommendations.

· Present clear options and recommendations, facilitate decision making and enable clear understanding in key stakeholders of risks, outcomes and trade-offs.

· Set the firm standard and approach for HR Project management, working closely with Heads of HR and key partners to deliver a robust approach that manages business needs for today and strengthens our future leadership pipeline

· Focus on Strategic Talent Cultivation, spearhead innovative initiatives for Growing our Own Timber through effective talent identification, development, retention, and redeployment strategies.

· Manage a portfolio of Country specific Talent Management programs such as Asia Talent Exchange Corridor, and offerings (including partnerships with third party partners) that are deployed to support to support talent identification and development of SG talents

· Partner with HR stakeholders to curate the experience, manage the engagement and measure the impact of our investments in SG talent pools

· Collaborate closely with Country Management Team, Business stakeholders and Heads of HR to drive integration of talent identification, development and deployment practices that result in an increased movement of top talent across the Bank

Processes

· Participate in quality management reviews, process designs, prototypes and other requirement workbooks to ensure they fulfil stakeholder’s requirements.

· Partner with GPOs and Product Owners to discharge process owner responsibilities for relevant HR Projects as required

· Support GPOs to review new and existing processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, reduced operational risk and improved employee experience

People & Talent

· Set and monitor responsibilities for colleagues supporting delivery of the role objectives and key results, ensuring that continuous, balanced feedback is provided in line with project goals.

Risk Management

· Ensure effective first line identification, management, monitoring and reporting of risks is undertaken in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) in a way that is consistent with the authority and responsibilities of the role

Reporting to Head of Talent Acquisition, Growth & Emerging Markets (GEM) - come join Takeda as a Talent Acquisition Business Partner, GEM! Role Requirements/Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position is for Office of Human Resources and Faculty Administration (HRFA).
• HR Technology Management
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of HR Technology systems/platforms to improve and streamline HR operations, as well as enhancing the user experience for employees, line managers and HR users.
  • Serve as a liaison between HR function and IT/System implementation partner for the SAP SuccessFactors implementation project and ongoing technology initiatives/enhancements.
  • Lead the design and delivery of new/enhancement of HR technology solutions including HRIS (SAP HR ECC, SAP SuccessFactors modules) and other relevant 3rd party HR tools (e.g., Qliksense, Glint, Chronus, Microsoft Office Tools, Document management System) to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth rollout and integration between HR systems and other organizational platforms, aligning to business requirements.
  • Facilitate the change management process for the deployment of new systems or major updates to existing HR systems/modules.
• Data Management and Analytics/Reporting
  • Oversee the management of HR data, not limiting to data structure inventory, data accuracy and compliance with data privacy.
  • Drive HR analytics and through development of standard reports/dashboard to provide insights into key HR metrics to support data-driven decision making.
  • Partner with IT department to implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive HR data and ensure data access control.
• Process Optimisation
  • Lead and collaborate with business owners (internal HR or external stakeholders) to operationalise the implementation of the HR/Academic policies and processes via technology.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, workflow and improve user experience through technology enhancement/automation.
• Compliance and Vendor Management
  • Oversee and review users' access for all HR related systems, i.e., HRMS such as SAP HR/SuccessFactors, reporting tool such as Qliksense, electronic document management system, Intranet repository, 3rd party systems, etc. to ensure segregation of duties are being managed appropriately according to internal control guidelines.
  • Participate in the periodic audit review exercise, not limiting to users' access maintenance.
  • Manage relationship with HR technology vendors, together with the IT department, on system patches/upgrades, maintenance, adhering service level agreement, contract negotiation.
• Training and Documentation
  • Develop training materials, conduct training sessions for users on the use of HR technology platform. Create and maintain documentation, user guide, FAQs to support end-users to navigate the system effectively.
• Team Management
  • Lead and mentor the team members, providing guidance on project prioritization, continuous development and keeping up with new technology trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of broad HR experience, with at least 3 years in HR technology implementation, or related roles, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of HR technology platforms, including HRMS (SAP HR ECC, SAP SuccessFactors), 3rd party faculty information system, survey platform (Glint).
• Proficiency in HR solutions' configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Highly self-motivated and independent thinking abilities.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder influencing/engagement capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in multiple teams and coordinate efforts across different stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team's members.

• Familiar with international recruitment markets and processes, with excellent cross-cultural communication skills
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills, capable of completing recruitment tasks independently
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and strong stress tolerance
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
