We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intern to support our Original Equipment (OE) division. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing OE product inquiries and help document customer requirements to inform sales and product strategies.

Projects & Learning Exposure:

As a Marketing & Sales Intern, you will gain practical experience by:

• Supporting coordination with the OE Team on project-related tasks.

• Contributing to the marketing team's initiatives as needed.
• Preparing reports (upon request only) to provide valuable operational and sales insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and provide disposition on low-yield production lots, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work closely with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factory and OSAT to resolve issues efficiently and ensure smooth production flow
• Execute day to day sustaining activities (Overall lot rejection rate improvement, EQA hold rate reduction, SYL/ SBL sustaining, etc.) to ensure delivery fulfillment.
• Qualification and validation of new products, tester platform migration and various engineering activities. 
• Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives (Yield improvement, etc.).
• System integration.

• Assist to coach and train sales assistant in products knowledge and customer service standards

As Director of Marketing for Malaysia, you will lead the country’s end-to-end marketing strategy to drive sustainable customer growth, brand leadership, and market share. You will be responsible for scaling Monthly Active Users (MAU), strengthening brand equity, and ensuring efficient marketing investment across all channels.

Key responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy & Customer Growth

• Own the country marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Scale Monthly Active Users (MAU) and lifetime value through a balanced approach across performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and brand initiatives.
• Identify and unlock new growth opportunities and channels to accelerate customer adoption.

2. Brand & Market Leadership

• Lead the development and execution of local brand and campaign strategies to strengthen market presence and competitive positioning.
• Ensure consistent and impactful ATL/BTL and digital marketing initiatives aligned with business priorities.
• Drive initiatives that improve brand awareness, consideration, and customer sentiment.

3. Marketing Investment & Performance

Test Planning & Execution

• Support the preparation of test plans and checklists, including developing comprehensive test scenarios to validate new features.
• Execute testing and validation activities for firmware changes and new feature implementations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Analyze test results, verify the effectiveness of code changes, and document findings clearly.
• Support hardware teams by providing clarity on test algorithms, feature behavior, and validation expectations.

Debugging & Issue Resolution

• Perform failure analysis (FA) and debugging for code-related and test setup issues.
• Identify root causes and propose potential solutions or corrective actions.

Test Environment

• Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of automated test scripts using relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing methodologies, workflows, and tools.

Collaboration & Communication

About the role:

The position of Product Development Intern sits comfortably in the Product Development team and the APAC regional headquarters based in Johor Bahru. An incredible diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! And as a Product Development Intern you will be given full responsibility and accountability for a project from the beginning of your placement and you’ll have an opportunity to fully integrate and actually make a difference. You will work on your own research project related to recipe development in dairy and/or black coffee or improving brewing or product quality.  In addition, you will be heavily supporting the activities of the team (organizing tastings and  analyzing the results, lab scale experiments, recipe development, shelf-life analysis of some products, factory exposure by supporting trials).

During the placement, you will be exposed to the wider R&D community and potentially work with other functions (marketing, operations). Some local travel may be required.
