Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, Client Operations, a list of your responsibilities will include: 

• Manage a team of fund accountants responsible for client deliverables such as NAV production, financial statements and associated reports;
• Ensure the team is trained, engaged and as efficient as possible in achieving organizational goals.
• Partner with investment managers, brokers and auditors for daily operational issues;
• Work with other teams, such as IO, finance, regulatory reporting and banking to ensure all deliverables are met
• Participate in multiple system improvement projects, global and local plans and identifying and building on efficiency improvements
• Ensure the accuracy of client deliverables prepared by your team while observing service level agreement timelines.
• Maintain responsibility for the audit process, prepare financial statements or review such if prepared by other parties.
• Ensure all processes are performed following operational controls as stipulated in SOC1 and all relevant checklists are completed.
• Ensure all fees are billed on time and collected promptly for their assigned team.
• Participate in different system projects and contribute to idea generation for future process or technological improvements.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as needed by our clients, organization, or employees on their team.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Client Operations, this is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing company in Financial Services.

You Will:

• Provide a full range of fund accounting services to private equity clients, including NAV preparation, booking accruals, security pricing, performing cash and security position reconciliations.
• Prepare pricing of portfolios ensuring all holdings are priced observing the applicable fund documents and valuation policies.
• Prepare capital call, distribution calculation and allocation.
• Prepare fee schedules including calculation of management fee and waterfall, ensuring all calculations observe applicable fund documents.
• Prepare Investor allocations for each NAV cycle ensuring capital transactions are booked correctly and P&L is allocated correctly.
• Prepare NAV packages and other ad hoc deliverables as defined in the service level agreements.
• Complete other ad hoc requests and projects.
• Communicate with internal MUFG teams and external clients, ensuring all deliverables and requests are met.
• Prepare/Assist with audited Financial Statements, audit assistance, and other regulatory services, as applicable.

This is a vital role in ensuring MFS can calculate independent Net Asset Values of investment funds. A Fund of Funds Middle Office Operations (FOF MOO) Senior Associate will be a part of a global team that is responsible for data collection of pricing information relating underlying fund positions and loading the information to the security master application.

An FOF MOO Senior Associate will have a strong understanding of what drives the value of an investment fund, the types of products it trades and the nature of day-to-day operations between an investment fund and its counterparties, all alongside a keen interest in learning new technologies and skills.

• This position will have the primary responsibility of managing fund accounting team(s) providing the full range of fund administration services to Hedge Fund
• This individual will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations, Malaysia and the Head of Client Operations, Fund Accounting, Hedge Funds in Singapore

A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes:

• Review and coordinate Net Asset Value calculation and reportings
• Review and coordinate investor servicing activities. Including investor on-boarding, capital calls, distributions, and other investor reportings.
• Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation(s) and apply the terms to the financial reporting and the income and expense allocations
• Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and developing solutions for issues 
• Review of financial statements and footnotes for audit purpose
• Liase with banks, auditors, brokers and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables
• Lead new funds on-boarding process and ensure that everything is in order prior to the fund launch.
• Primary contact to client on daily operational, issue discussion and any other request
• Resolve issues/queries raised clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction
• Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase in operational efficiency
• Participate in client pitch or any other sales effort as a subject matter expert. 
• Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above

• To be responsible for overall project management in ensuring the quality, cost, statutory, safety and environment issues and project scheduling requirements are met
• To support with the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
• To identify and ensure that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues
• To maintain effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project
• To manage the implementation of the master programme, manpower, materials & plant schedules
• Responsible for the project planning, including producing the detailed project plan
• To lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team
• To manage the change control process
• To monitor and advise upon project finances
• To manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
• To prepare master programme, formal project progress and other reports
• To take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
• To identify opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and reporting such opportunities to the appropriate line manager
• To ensure that key information and learning generated from each project is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database
• To ensure prompt client invoicing and utilising of internal accounting systems in order to monitor a project’s financial status

This is a vital role in ensuring MFS can calculate independent Net Asset Values of investment funds. A Fund of Funds Middle Office Operations (FOF MOO) Junior Associate Director will operate and oversee reconciliation and NAV review technology to deliver a full reconciled gross Net Asset Value to client operations teams or clients, including cash, positions and receivables.

An FOF MOO Junior Associate Director will have a strong understanding of what drives the value of an investment fund, the types of products it trades and the nature of day to day operations between an investment fund and its counterparties, all alongside a keen interest in learning new technologies and skills.
