Position: Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the art center, ensuring its smooth and efficient functioning. This role involves managing staff, facilities, events, and logistics, and also includes coordinating the successful opening of new centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize operational plans, policies, and procedures to enhance the center's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead the planning and execution of the new center opening, including facilities setup, recruitment, training, inventory, marketing, and coordination with various teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful launch, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of the art center's facilities, including classrooms, studios, equipment, and common areas.
• Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and renovations as needed.
• Ensure optimal stock levels, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage staff across various departments, including front desk, maintenance, events, and facilities management.
• Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and address employee concerns.
• Maintain a welcoming and organized environment for students and visitors.
• Oversee customer interactions, handle inquiries, and address feedback to enhance the overall experience.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, education, and finance, to align strategies and achieve overall business goals.

Working day: 5/6 days work week, including weekends

Responsibilities: 

• Able to work beyond normal working hours when necessary.
• Implement effective maintenance procedures to minimize production down time caused by breakdown of machineries. 
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and develop and execute maintenance plans to minimise downtime and disruptions. 
• Analyse data to identify trends, diagnose problems and develop solutions to improve equipment reliability and performance. 
• Implement effective preventive maintenance plan to ensure all facilities and equipment operate efficiently and effectively.

• Conduct constant review on spare parts consumption and initiate necessary purchase of spare parts. 
• Analyse spare parts consumption and maintenance cost and initiate effective actions to reduce consumption and maintenance cost. 
• Monitor to ensure operation of utility supply and facilities comply with provision of relevant laws, by-laws, rules and regulations. 
• Plan constantly for proper upkeep and maintenance of building facilities. 
• Ensure continuous development and upgrading of subordinates’ skills. 
• Involve actively in cost savings or improvement projects. 
• To advise and guide maintenance supervisor in the implementation of effective 
  maintenance programs. 
• Provide proper guidance to subordinates to troubleshoot and overcome machine problems speedily and effectively. 
• To prepare monthly reports, capital expenditures and evaluate service providers.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in same field mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance 
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and knowledge of equipment and machinery 
• Ability to analyse information, diagnose problems and develop solutions 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong time management and organisational skills 
• Ability to prioritise tasks and make decisions under pressure 
• Language required : English,Bahasa Malaysia, chinese 
• Minimum education level : certification level

Software Engineer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibility & Authority  :-

• To conduct performance monitoring and supervision onsite for air pollution control system, IETS, scheduled waste storage area
• To assist in completion of documented information for ISO purpose
• To be a Competent Person for Bag Filter Operation/ Dust Collector System
• To record daily performance monitoring for dust collector system as per legal Requirement
• To collaborate with SHE Officer to ensure compliance as per legal requirement.
• To ensure record keeping and maintain of all ISO and DOE, DOSH, and BOMBA related Documentation
• To liaise with firefighting equipment contractors and BOMBA for fire protection system to ensure all in good condition and maintaining Fire Certificate together with Emergency Response Team (ERT)

• To involve in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and HAS2300 recertification audit.
