Job Descriptions:
- Initiate contact with clients to discuss overdue payments.
- Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements and Conducting the credit assessment via CTOS if necessary.
- Processing of other documentation when required.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and payment commitments.
- Negotiate and establish payment plans with clients based on their financial situations.
- Collaborate with clients to find mutually agreeable solutions to settle outstanding debt.
- Regular meetings with department HOD/management teams on clients' credit issues or any payment issues faced.
- Provide regular reports/summary listing on debt collection activities and progress.
- Report to management on accounts that require special attention or further action.
- Follow up on overdue payments and implement company collections procedures as necessary.
- Implement effective debt collection strategies to minimize outstanding balances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years and above working experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable; or a related financial role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under a tight timeline
