Our KES – Singapore combustion aftermarket team is constantly looking for talent to grow to increase it’s capability and to better serve our customers. As a Regional Customer Advisor, you will be the face of the company in front of the customer. Your disposition, knowledge and technical capability, customer interaction, soft selling ability will serve to open opportunity windows for the company. You need to embrace a strong safety culture, willingness to travel and ability to establish and develop strong relationship with the internal business units and clients. You will report to Director of Sales.
What You Will Do
- Assisting the after-market sales team on technical issues
- Identifying decision makers for KES Combustion products (process burners, flares, thermal oxidizer systems, boiler burners) and services in the plants
- Building long term relationships with clients / reps
- Provide technical training and promoting safe practices through customer education
- Anticipate customer needs and making yourself available to assist with those needs
- Fulfill customer requirements effectively and efficiently compared to their next best alternative
- Seeking out and share innovative ideas to grow the aftermarket business within the region of your coverage
- Coordinate / conduct combustion surveys to determine installed assets, equipment health, MRO Planning
- Use of CRM (Salesforce), ERP (LN) systems will be a requirement.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of relevant industrial and site experience serving in the Refining / Petrochemical plant
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Well organized and able to work independently
- Strong adherence for safety and demonstrated safe work habits
- Up to 50-70% travel within South East Asia, primarily Malaysia
What Will Put You Ahead
- Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree
- Strong proficiency in English Language and strong report writing skills
- Proficiency in a regional language will be a plus
- Technical proficiency to understand process engineering, ability to read mechanical, electrical engineering drawings, process flow diagrams and P&ID.
- Basic understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems
