The Yard Coordinator is responsible for the specialized operational function(s) for assigned work group(s) in a SCS logistics operation. This role has a unique skillset to provide specialized/customized service for SCS customers and/or site location. Position responsibility may include advanced troubleshooting on systematic processes, resolution decision making to avoid logistical errors, specialized reporting or processes for MGT, etc. This position could provide direct supervision and will assist with new hire training, processes, routines, etc. Yard management, Trailer management, and on-site safety audits.
-Assist in management of trailer fleet, Coordinate trailer service for PMs and repairs, Oversee and troubleshoot Yard Management system and Audit driver force in yard against on-site yard safety rules.
May interact with carriers and/or the customer based on the complexity and scope of the account.
All work is subject to review by location Ryder Corporate Process Owners such as Finance, Human Resources, Safety, Ops etc. Error could result in customer dissatisfaction, loss of inventory, loss of profit, safety or security incident.

Summary
The Customer Logistics Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Mainly responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area. Will manage a team of 2 Supervisor, 1 Clerk, 100 home daily drivers. Handle customs paperwork for Cross border shipments. US MX and US Canada. Quarterly Retention bonus up t 1K per quarter for driver retention. Focused on Mexico side of the of business.

Qualifications
H.S. diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required
