Job Main Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Degree in production management, operations management, or similar.
• Ability to confidently and proactively supervise production teams.
• Knowledge of procuring materials, equipment, and labour needed throughout the production process.
• Competence with computer-based administration, record-keeping, and procurement systems.
• Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work extended hours to meet deadlines, when necessary.
• Knowledge of engineering and contruction related to steel is an advantages.
• Able to work under preassure.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for the coordination of projects, including small tenant improvements, assignments, capital improvements and building or site repairs for properties; may provide project management support to Project Managers or Directors for designated projects.

About the Role:

• Prepare a clear development brief in respect of the Project’s quality, cost and time requirements and limitations.
• Advise on the procurement strategy and prepare project budget and tender documents (pre-contract & post contract administration and procedures).
• Facilitate and provide oversight on consultant & contractor progress (site based, at client office).
• Provide building technical support to Facility Management encompassing commercial, industrial and residential properties.
• Perform project management work in various projects like building Civil & Structural, office fit out’s, building repairs and replacement and additional and alteration works specifically new green field industrial works.

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management / Facilities Management / Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant post graduate experience.
• Knowledge in project management, construction works( C&S), building services and fit-out design.
• Multi-discipline background and experience in Planning, Management, Technical & Contractual skills.
• Ability to travel and manage multiple projects.

What you will do:

• Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.
• To ensure the allocated gross margin (%GM) is achieved or improved by fully optimizing project resources.
• Project revenue and cost plan Project scheduling.
• Project organization including sub-contractor selection and evaluation.
• Need to identify various and implement mitigation and contingency plan to ensure that the project is not derailed at any point.
• Implement safety measure to ensure all work is done safely.

How you will do it:

• Prepare and submit shop drawings, construction drawings and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate project procurement sourcing based on best price practice Client, consultants, main - contractors liaison and goodwill building.
• Resolving of project related issues including technical, commercial issues based on tender/project scope of work.
• Project progress supervising vis-à-vis timely project claims and cost controls.
• Build project margin improvement plan and opportunities including V.O opportunities.
• Perform Monthly project performance analysis with engineers for project progress and action plans.
• Continuous personal improvement plan and training for engineers.

What we look for:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical /Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Preferably 6 years working experience in similar industries and in project management.
• Speak optimally, foster open communication; listen to others; deliver presentations optimally. Demonstrate the ability to present information clearly so that it is understood by customers; achieve understanding and agreement with customers/contractors, other department and sales staff.
