Responsibilities
Finance:
• Manage the entire spectrum of accounts, ensuring compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax obligations (GST/WHT/CIT/LCR/BCA/ISO), audits, procedures, and forms, both statutory and internal.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, preparing necessary financial reports for Management, and overseeing the preparation and closing of annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with external parties such as external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities as necessary.
• Handle accounting processes and tasks, including AP & AR processes, GL management, account reconciliation, and staff claims.
• Manage the company's insurance matters, including FW Bonds, medical insurance, etc.
• Develop the annual budget and optimize expenses for the organization.
• Evaluate and enhance processes and system implementation as needed.
HR:
• Develop and implement talent management strategies, total rewards strategies, and other HR initiatives.
• Recruit, support, and develop talent by establishing policies and managing procedures, providing guidance on policies and procedures as needed.
• Develop and implement HR initiatives and systems, including job descriptions, recruitment, onboarding, training, and development programs.
• Assist in performance management processes and support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) in compliance with policy and legal requirements.
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
• Supervise subordinates to ensure fulfillment of duties.
• Collaborate with other department heads to fulfill contractual commitments and provide excellent service delivery.
• Report to and consult with the Managing Director on immediate and future issues requiring intervention.
Requirements:
• Higher education in Finance, Accountancy, HR, or a related field.
