DIGITAL LEARNING DESIGNER | FIXED TERM CONTRACT | HIGH WYCOMBE
We’re looking for a fabulous Digital Learning Designer to join our Learning & Development team and play a key role in designing digital/online learning content for the Retail, Head Office, and Warehouse teams.
You’ll collaborate with department across the business to understand learning aims and requirements, identifying learning objectives, writing story boards and using rapid development tools; all in line with The Perfume Sho’s branding and tone of voice.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Design professional, engaging, and interactive online materials that align with our Learning Management System (LMS), incorporating current online learning software and multimedia elements.
· Apply instructional design theory to create storyboards, scripts, and assessment materials for new online modules.
· Utilise a variety of techniques to design instructional content, selecting appropriate delivery methods and content sources for blended learning programmes.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to define and execute new projects, and evaluate existing learning materials for online conversion.
· Take ownership of assigned projects, overseeing them from launch to completion, ensuring quality through user testing, proofreading, and maintaining brand voice consistency.

About You
The Senior Learning Designer plays a crucial role in supporting the Subject Matter Experts within the Joint Logistics Command of the Australian Defence Force. They are responsible for designing and developing training and assessment content for a range of Defence training programs through the Defence LMS. With a collaborative and proactive approach, the Senior Learning Designer works closely with the Core Defence Team and instructors to prepare innovative and fit-for-purpose learning activities and resources based on curriculum requirements for contemporary Vocational Education (VE). To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

The Senior Learning Designer / Program Manager– BEST Frontline Manager BSNA is a critical support at Johnson Controls in pursuit of its mission, leading the successful design, deployment and program management of training solutions for our field managers.

Facilitator – Responsibilities
Facilitate leadership programs for managers in BSNA. Partner with our fantastic leadership colleagues to ensure all program criteria are adhered to, audiences are accurate and appropriate, and content is up to date.
Facilitate onboarding sessions for all new North American manager new hires on topics ranging from our financials and leadership and management practices.
Lead manager sessions as part of a regular cadence, or in monthly “booster” session format.
Lead onboarding welcomes, intro programs, and office hours.
Train new hire and legacy managers on job related and role clarity activities.
Share training content, session information, and student data with BSNA leaders.
Program Manager –Responsibilities
Collaborate to design and deliver programs that drive field effectiveness and provide upskilling opportunities for our employees.
Differentiate the design of learning opportunities so new-to-career, new-to-role, or new-to-JCI employees can access information at various entry points.
Own end to end new hire, legacy or need based training from design to deployment (we will help with development).
Enroll, track / monitor, and report on learner attendance and progression.
Use data to drive your instruction, and to evaluate effectiveness of training solutions.
Use learner data to modify existing programs and redesign based on participant feedback.
Hold learner interviews, focus groups, needs analyses and pilots to identify, address and redesign learning events.
Build strong partnerships with business leaders; collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize work.

What we look for:

This position adopts a hybrid work model, requiring your presence Monday to Friday for 36.25 hours per week. During the training period, you will be based in our Leicester office for the entire week. However, once the training is successfully completed, the role will transition to a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a flexible combination of office and remote work.

Position Summary:
The Department of Visual Arts & Art History at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) invites applications for a nine-month Visiting Instructor position in Graphic Design based on the Fort Lauderdale campus starting in August 2024 and ending at the conclusion of the Spring semester in May 2025.
The successful candidate must be committed to undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring. We seek a candidate with demonstrated teaching and professional experience in the following areas: emergent media, interactive design, design theory, visual design principles, and typography. Must be able to teach core competencies in the context of changing practices in social/disruptive media and emergent technologies including, but not exclusive to, AI in design practice. The teaching load is four courses per semester, Fall 2024 and Spring 2025. We are looking for a candidate with a developing record of creative research and an interest in engaging with the wider activities of the department and the university.
