As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will join a dynamic team of professionals and be responsible for implementing best practices and ensuring the security of information systems and assets. What you\'ll need to succeed

• Safeguard information system assets and protect systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
• Implement security improvements and troubleshoot security and network problems.
• Respond to system and/or network security breaches promptly.
• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place to protect the organization\'s data and infrastructure.
• Participate in the change management process and test network and system vulnerabilities.
• Conduct daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments.
• Evaluate the organization\'s security needs and establish best practices and standards accordingly.
• Design, implement, maintain, oversee, and upgrade all necessary security measures.
• Respond to security breaches and troubleshoot network and security issues.
• Conduct penetration testing and identify vulnerabilities in the network and system.
• Take an active role in the change management process and ensure infrastructure and data safety.
• Conduct testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system.
• Work on infrastructure as code definition and rollout.
• Develop advanced scripting using PowerShell/Bash.
• Utilize various programming languages and web stack frameworks for security solutions implementation.
• Communicate and present security products/solutions to end clients effectively.
• Prioritize projects and have a broad understanding of software development aspects.
• Apply secure coding best practices and handle complex business and technical scenarios.
• Demonstrate excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.

Skills and Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6-7 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Public Trust security clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• Proficiency in SIEM, system penetration testing, network configuration, VMware administration, Ubuntu security configuration, and more.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell/Bash.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C and Python.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Understanding of secure coding best practices and ability to implement them.
• Ability to prioritize projects and handle complex scenarios.
