Business Development Manager
One of our clients is a leading AI construction camera company that specialises in providing innovative camera solutions powered by artificial intelligence for the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The primary focus of this role will be to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and promote the adoption of our AI construction camera solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, key players, and market trends
· Analyze competitors' offerings and market positioning to identify competitive advantages for our AI construction camera solutions.
· Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to target and acquire new clients.
· Identify and approach potential clients through networking, cold calls, email campaigns, and other suitable methods.
· Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our AI construction camera solutions.
· Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including construction companies, project managers, contractors, and consultants.
· Understand clients' needs and pain points, and tailor solutions to address their specific requirements.
· Identify and establish strategic partnerships with industry associations, technology integrators, and other relevant entities to enhance our market reach.
· Collaborate with partners to co-create value-added solutions and expand our ecosystem.
· Sales Pipeline Management:
· Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM tools.
· Gather feedback from clients and the market to provide insights for product enhancements and future developments.
· Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in AI and construction technology.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
· Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, preferably within the construction technology or AI industry.
· Strong understanding of the construction market and its key players.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet or exceed targets.
· Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
