Jacobs Douwe Egberts Research and Development (R&D) is part of the Global JDE organization. R&D is the major contributor to the development of innovative coffee, tea, cereal and NDC products and is constantly optimizing the product portfolio. Focus of R&D is on building technology platforms, new products, portfolio renovations and productivity initiatives. Projects are carried out together with Marketing, Operations and Procurement delivering Product and Packaging Specifications which are the single most critical output of R&D.

The PLM Specialist reports into the PLM Team Lead. They are responsible for maintenance of an effective and efficient specification system for product lifecycle management. They support the R&D team in their work developing new specifications. They are a data custodian and thanks to their actions the PLM system is trustworthy and data contained therein is a strategic R&D asset. This individual is responsible for part of the total portfolio and is expected to become the subject-matter expert for their area of the PLM system.

The PLM Specialist is part of the team responsible for the maintenance of the PLM system within APAC and will support the implementation of the new PLM Software. You will be responsible for assuring quality and trust in the data and be the first point of contact for data-related questions in your field.
