Job Description

• Review engineering standards/specifications/drawings, tender, quotations and proposal documents.
• Preliminary and detailed process & mechanical design of chemical plant, incineration plant, food waste plant, water/wastewater plant, offsites & utilities, pollution abatement, etc. including mechanical specification, design calculation, equipment layout design, support design, etc.
• Collaborate with BIM team for 3D model development and ensure the model is according to design.
• Coordination of internal and external engineering activities and the interdisciplinary interfaces to ensure that the project objectives and needs are achieved and exceeded.
• Prepare mechanical equipment requisitions and to ensure that the items procured are in accordance with specifications and schedule to ensure timely delivery.
• Technical review of mechanical equipment/system vendors proposal and submission.
• Coordination with equipment/system vendors on mechanical design and installation work during project execution stage.
• Prepare mechanical technical submissions and work with design lead to liaise with stakeholders, not limited to client/project consultant for submission approval.
• Prepare method statement for all the equipment installation
• Support during construction, installation, start-up, testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance & perform any other duties as requested by design lead/ engineering management.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 3 years and above in process & mechanical design in process plant (such as chemical plant, incineration plant, food waste, water/wastewater plant, offsites & utilities, ACMV, pollution abatement, etc) and hands on experience working in fast paced, diverse and multi-disciplined projects and O&M activities.
• Familiar with process & mechanical design code of practice and standards in Singapore, EN, ASME & PED.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD Plant 3D preferred & in other related design software/applications.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent coordination skills and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and work overtime to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with a diverse team.
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines.

OVERVIEW

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide professional and effective administrative support to CPAS’ training arm, Learning, Development and Consultancy (LDC) and HR’s Learning and Development. Together in the HR LDC department, contribute to achieving the objectives and goals of the unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learning, Development and Consultancy (LDC) Administration

· Prepare training proposal, agreement, purchase requisition and other relevant documents needed to conduct training.

· Prepare and update the training calendar.

· To maintain an online registration system for talks, training, and workshops organised by CPAS.

· Set up and turn down the training room for all training programmes including the upkeeping.

· Co-ordinate with the Finance Department with regards to payment received for the various workshop, incoming claims, eg. Agency for Integrated Care, Voluntary Welfare Organisation Capability Fund (VCF) and others, computing tax for overseas speakers, etc.

· Update the CPAS Staff list needed as an attendance list for in-house training conducted by various Allied Health Departments and/or Programmes.

· Co-ordinate with the various departments/trainers in providing logistics support in registration, training / workshop materials, eg. notes distribution, and other matters required for training.

· Maintain the central filing system for all courses at the end of each training/workshop.

· Purchase materials / office supplies / printing brochures & training materials, certificates, sourcing for caterers / refreshments for training according to the rules and regulations stipulated by Finance Department.

· Ensure office supplies for training are replenished regularly and maintain a monthly record of usage.

Requirements and Skills

· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Marketing role within the luxury industry, ideally within the yachting/maritime sector.

Asia Community Foundation (ACF) is an independent, trusted giving platform that catalyses funding at scale with informed, efficient grant-making for donors acting individually or collectively. Singapore-based, this charitable organisation supports individuals, families, and institutions as their trusted partner in purposeful philanthropy.

Established in 2022 by a group of philanthropists from Asia Philanthropy Circle, ACF was born out of the pressing need for a regional platform to facilitate cross-border giving in Asia. Our mission is to promote purposeful giving in Asia by connecting donors and nonprofits to achieve greater results than they could on their own. As a community, we believe that we can create positive change and address some of the most pressing socioeconomic and environmental issues facing Asia today.

Key Responsibilities:

ACF is looking for a candidate with excellent communications and interpersonal skills who is passionate about contributing to the social impact sector. Reporting to the CEO, the Development Director will spearhead donor development and fundraising efforts as ACF continues to grow and evolve. This includes identifying potential donors and partners, creating pipelines, cultivating relationships with individuals, banks and intermediaries, and working in collaboration with colleagues to guide donors through their giving process at ACF. As a lean, fast-paced start-up organisation, team members should expect to multitask in a flexible environment in order to thrive.

• Develop ACF’s annual donor development and fundraising plans and lead execution efforts
• Identify potential prospects and secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
• Foster ongoing relationships with donors by working in consultative manner to understand needs and interests to strategically align ACF solutions
• Build pipelines for new donors through participation in events, workshops, and leveraging partnerships with banks, intermediaries, other organisations
• Communicate ACF’s unique role and value in the philanthropy and social impact ecosystems
• Manage and maintain system for tracking proposals and progress status for new donors
• Create and execute strategies for donor expansion and funding diversification, including organisational fundraising
• Oversee planning and organisation of special events to support prospect development, donor education and relationship building
• Create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, board members and Asia Philanthropy Circle (sister organisation) team members

Requirements:

• 10 years’ work experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, philanthropy advisory, wealth management, private banking, or related client development and relationship management work
• Demonstrated success in client development, fundraising or related work
• Excellent English language communications—written, oral and listening; interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• Experience working, volunteering or serving on board positions with nonprofit organisations or knowledge of the social impact sector in Asia
• Strong organisational skills and ability to self-start, make decisions and adjust to evolving situations
• BA required, MA a plus; Mandarin or other languages a plus
