In your role as a Content Visual Designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative yet functional artwork and layouts for digital and non-digital projects. One of the key aspects of your role is a thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design, target audiences and serving our brand’s purpose, business missions and customer needs.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Besides bringing content vision and concepts to life, your responsibilities as part of the integrated marketing communications team will include refining ideas and developing new ones to create a highly designed visual experience for the target audience through a variety of platforms including web and intranet sites, content: infographics, visuals for social media postings, advertisements, e-newsletters, e-direct mailers, GDN banners, sales & marketing materials, videos, learning materials etc

Role Description
As a UI/UX Designer for our team, you will play a pivotal role in conducting extensive user research and analysis, gaining valuable insights into user needs, behaviors, and motivations. Leveraging this data, you will contribute to the development of user-centric digital products by informing and validating design decisions. Your responsibilities extend to crafting wireframes, user flows, and prototypes, emphasizing continuous iteration and refinement based on user feedback and testing outcomes. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, engaging with product managers, developers, and stakeholders in brainstorming sessions and design reviews to ensure a seamless and user-centric product design.
Additionally, your role involves planning and conducting usability testing sessions, interpreting results, and providing recommendations for design enhancements. Your active contribution to the development of high-fidelity UI designs, aligned with overall design systems and brand guidelines, will be crucial. You will collaborate seamlessly with the development team to ensure the successful implementation of designs. Advocating for accessibility and inclusivity in design is a central aspect of this role, ensuring that our products are not only visually appealing but also usable by a diverse user base.
● Proven experience as a UX Designer or similar role.
● Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects.
● Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
● Knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.
● Familiarity with front-end development technologies is a plus.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
