Reviewing and improving the prebill control framework. (This can be also a topic for a thesis)
Support Month-end process including forward looking expectations of a quarter
Support the Management performance review deck per Business and for full Philips in ISC scope
Provide a fresh look to current process
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Student for a Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting

Market-conform remuneration.
This is an addition to:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net
Paid holidays per internship term.

Sie stellen die Versorgung der Produktion mit Material und Dienstleistungen unter Einhaltung von Qualitäts-, Termin-, Kosten- und Bestandsvorgaben sicher.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cost Control Engineer to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
The Cost Control Engineer completes a variety of cost control tasks for the program, reporting to the Cost Manager.
Develop and implement the approved software, and coding structure, based on established progress/cost collection levels and reporting requirements
Develop job cost forecast and update the system on monthly basis under guidance from the cost manager and program director
Analyze project performance and make recommendations in respect of (mitigation or improvements to) the same
Prepare the Project Controls Statement (PCS) in conjunction with the senior cost manager and program director for their approval
Prepare invoices after liaising with the Sr. Contracts administrator and Project Manager. Support accounts receivable as required during the billing processing.

Assist in various financial aspects of sub-contracts and vendors, including payments and variations

Responsible for:
EPCI CAPEX cost estimate and associated commercial deliverables during proposal phase; and
Reference cost data analysis and benchmarking data development/ update
To have good understanding on the industrial standard cost engineering terminology (Estimate classification, estimate methodologies, estimate review and validation, etc.)
Coordinate and interface with technical/ commercial professionals, vendors, subcontractors and client to EPCI CAPEX costing within the time frame
Develop CAPEX cost estimate along with back-up data based on technical/ executional input
Work out commercial deliverables related to CAPEX (e.g. Compensation Form, Basis/ Assumption of CAPEX Estimate, Commercial Qualifications, etc.) to read thru the ITT documents as part of Commercial Bid Proposal
Produce cashflow projection (cash-in/cash-out) based on Project Schedule, Milestone Payment from Company and payment terms by Vendors/ Subcontractors
Collect, assort various cost data along with technical information for benchmarking and analyze tendency, correlation or algorithm in order to develop applicable estimate methodologies.
Define and identify risks in terms of opportunities and threats.
To have knowledge of risk management process.
To have good understanding on the concept of risk contingency and allowance
