We are currently recruiting for a Food Supply Planner to join our Food Supply team here at Harrods on an 18-month fixed term contract.

About the Role  

The Food Supply Planner manages food product availability effectively within Harrods’ Food Halls, Restaurants and Kitchens to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time, in the right amount. The Food Supply Planner plays an integral role in maximising deport, shelf and kitchen availability whilst also managing waste, creating and managing product level forecasts and driving supplier performance.

The Food Supply Planner is responsible for availability, waste, and purchase order management, forecasting and budgeting, replenishment across all selling sites, and ensuring all data points and systems are kept up to date. • This role will have accountability for functional delivery of Supply Chain and Procure To Pay requirements (SAP MM/IM) integrated with SAP Order Fulfillment (SAP SD/LE).
• Will have accountability for the Supply Chain Execution (SCE) functions of business segments.
• Provide functional leadership (as required) in planning/sequencing of end-to-end design workshops and support facilitation of workshops, leveraging knowledge of industry best practices and application of global SAP implementation experience.
• Complies with adoption of Solution Manager, Charm Management, JIRA, and other standard tools.
• Provide direction to the teams during problem solving and crisis management.
• Identify gaps between requirements and current solution and develop options and estimates for closing the gaps.
• Plan out processes and procedures to achieve specific goals including working with various leaders and stake holders to achieve project success.
• Will be responsible for providing production support capabilities handling defects and enhancements.
• Able to work on medium to complex business requirements and convert functional specifications into test scenarios and test scripts.

• Effectively communicate with IT partners and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to manage the execution of Software Delivery deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• More than 8 years of overall SAP experience and 5+ years’ relevant experience spanning across SAP MM, SAP SD & SAP LE
• Functional expertise in the areas of Supply Chain Execution (SCE)
• Experience in designing solutions in SAP and configuring SAP MM, FI and SAP SD module.
• Experience in implementing SAP in large scale implementations.
• Strong configuration experience in SAP MM and SD Module to support the following functions – Inventory management, Transportation configuration, Outbound deliveries to WMS, Goods Receipt, Customer/Supplier Returns, Receiving, ASN, Supplier EDI, 3PL.
• Experience in integrating SAP with EDI, Manhattan, and E-Commerce Platforms
• Strong integration skills with SAP modules SD, MM, FI and with external ERP systems.
• Hands on experience gathering requirements and creating functional specs.
• Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred.
• Ability to navigate through the SDLC process.
• Strong SAP integration experience with WMS systems like Manhattan or other WMS systems is preferred.
• SAP certification in either Procure To Pay OR Supply Chain module is required.
• Knowledge of FICO module, Supply Planning and integration with other modules in ECC is a plus,
• Hands-on SAP ERP (ECC) skills, with demonstrated experience in Procure To Pay, Sales and Distribution and Logistics Execution modules required
  • SAP MM/ LE Configuration – Plant/STO, delivery, Shipping and Transportation, Handling unit Management
  • Strong knowledge on integration between SAP SD and associated modules (MM/LE/Planning)
  • SAP SD Configuration – Sales Document types, Item Categories, Output determination, Copy Control, Schedule line categories, Available to Promise, IDOC/XML/File integration
  • Special Concept Such Free Goods, Bill of Materials, Material Determination.
  • Master Data (CMIR/Customer Master/Material master/Pricing master).
  • Good understanding on ABAP and debugging
• Very good high-level understanding in integration technologies such as SAP PO, APIGEE etc.
• Strong integration skills with SAP modules SD, MM, FI, and external ERP systems.
• Experience in implementing SAP in large scale implementations.
• Ability to define work processes and lead team members in successful implementation and ongoing execution preferred.
• Proven ability to develop individuals and teams.

• Experience collaborating in global/geographically diverse teams.
• Experience in integration between SAP systems and SAP to non-SAP systems (EDI, middleware, APIGEE/GCP, J2EE etc.).
