WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Meet our Hiring SLA by scouting and building relationships with talents, while utilising cutting-edge HR software for greater efficiency.
• Participate in projects related to various HR functions including employee onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent management, employee welfare, and office management.
• Provide data-driven solutions to leaders in the creation of development plans that meet progression/succession and retention needs.
• Actively collaborate on HR initiatives with multiple verticals in the department and organisation.
• Track and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of HR-Business solutions, and measure behavioural outcomes.
• Own the governance of processes and policies in the entire employee experience lifecycle.
• Own the process of ensuring that employees’ needs are met in the employee experience lifecycle.
• Help to keep everyone engaged with the organisation’s values and business direction, create systems to engage with employees and develop a feedback loop with the management team.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years experience recruiting external passive candidates for clients and will have experience managing a portfolio of 10-12 searches at a given time across all levels and disciplines.

The Candidate will have experience either as a Corporate Recruiter or with a search firm. The preferred sector experience will be in Construction but we are open to all sector experience. A plus will be to have experience with global companies and recruiting for multiple roles per project. 

Job Responsibilities:

The successful individual will be responsible for working with the Asia Talent Acquisition Managers to source and screen candidates using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools such as internet services, job board posting, networking, career/job fairs and professional organizations.

This position plays an integral role in building the company's talent pipeline requiring the successful candidate to have great interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term candidate relationships.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the candidate search process by implementing external sourcing strategies and assessing candidates.
• Build the market pipeline of candidates to fill vacancies and proposal needs.
• Develop interview protocols; accurately track applicants and candidates ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal and State employment laws.
• Perform reference verifications and facilitate a smooth transition from the recruitment process to the on-boarding process.

We will count on you to:

• Leverage talent strategy expertise and thought leadership to deliver significant change for Mercer’s clients, independently leading on a wide range of Talent Strategy projects and act as a work stream lead on the most programs.
• Manage the project workflow to ensure that deliverables are met on time
• Interpret data and other components to assess and determine the direction of a project, review project workflow and implications of scope with Project Managers and Project Sponsors.
• Assists and independently lead in writing and structuring client presentations/reports by using data such as averages, trends, and stochastic models to create summary exhibits in presentations and to draft initial observations/recommendations and conclusions for review by senior consultants or on the project.
• Coordinate and review client data while supervising junior consultants including: tracking what has been received and what are outstanding, identifying issues or discrepancies with data, raising any issues independently with the client.
• Interpret the data and determine “the story” outlined to the client – determine client implications as it relates to data.
• Answer client questions regarding Mercer project methodology. Lead internal team meetings (set agendas, take notes, execute most action items afterwards
• Conduct general research using internet and internal databases to gather information

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
• 3 -5 years experience within HR Consulting or HR Talent Management
• Experienced in applying HR Assessment / HR Engagement Tools
• Proficient in using MS Office Application, especially Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented to comprehend and summarize appropriate information
• Able to network and present sales pitch to key leaders in large organizations
