DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Performance financial analysis and operational performance including trends and variances.
• Identify and drive accounting and finance process efficiencies and improvements.
• Proactively work with non-finance stakeholders to ensure the Finance function is embedded in the business and provide value adding financial advice to achieve the goals and priorities.
• Oversee daily operations of all accounting functions including, but not limited to accounts payable, general ledgers, cash disbursements, reporting and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Any other responsibilities as and when assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant fiend.
• Member of relevant professional certification, e.g. MIA / CIMA / CPA / ACCA/ MICPA/ ICEAW etc.
• Minimum 5 years working experiences in similar capacity, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Strong accounting technical skills.
• High level of adaptability and flexibility skills.
• Must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Klang.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance, training and support to ensure their technical skills are up-to-date and their performance aligns with departmental goals.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of workshop operations for heavy equipment, truck and motor vehicle, including maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. Ensure that services are executed efficiently and safely.
• Allocate resources effectively, including technicians, tools, equipment, and parts to optimize workflow and meet service deadlines.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure that all repairs and maintenance work meet established standards of excellence. Regularly inspect completed work to maintain high levels of workmanship.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repair logs and maintenance schedules. Generate performance reports for review by upper management.
• Oversee warehouse activities, including organizing storage, implementing efficient layouts, and ensuring proper inventory management practices to minimize stock losses.
• Manage inventory and set alert on low inventory level for procurement of necessary supplies to support operations.
• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, materials, and machines to project sites.
