About the Role
The candidate will play a pivotal role to kickstart and craft AIA Agency Distribution’s social media presence (via Instagram) and Agency Distribution editorial (AD Buzz), specifically targeting our agency force. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, creative and able to ideate, build compelling contents to drive awareness, engagement and efficiency of our Life Planners, and supports AIA Agency Distribution in achieving business and recruitment growth.
- Kickstart, develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for AIA Agency Distribution’s Instagram account (social media) and Agency Distribution editorial (AD Buzz).
- Collaborate with cross-functional collaborators to proactively build and develop engagement and promotional materials to be disseminated to AIA’s agency force. This includes but is not limited to circulars, email communications, iCari posters and videos, video storyboard, articles, digital app notifications, AD Buzz (agency editorial /e-magazine). Content crafted is sought at achieving objective of growing awareness, inspire change management and increase participation and adoption of all AIA’s business initiatives such as contest, campaign, new products, digital applications and platforms.
- Own the creation of monthly Chief Agency Distribution Officer's business roll-down presentation deck by initiating topics and drafting outline, guide and work with designers to build the end product of monthly business roll-down deck.
- Proactively conduct event coverage, hot/ tactical topic coverage, new initiatives launches by engaging with AIA management and agency force for interviews and success stories sharing to produce weekly bite size and impactful contents to agency force to be published on AIA Instagram account and/or AD Buzz.
- Collaborate with a team of designers and writers to build the end-product of all communication collateral e.g., posters, videos that will be disseminated to the agency force.
- Track, supervise and evaluate efficiency and results of contents built for AIA agency force Instagram, AD Buzz and iCari and propose activities for improvement.
Job Requirements:
Education: If you have a tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, or related field, we encourage you to apply!
Work experience: We are looking at potential candidates with a minimum 8 years of validated experience in content creation/ communication/ editorial role.
Other technical experience: Hands-on experience in social media content creation, social media management, particularly via Instagram or Facebook. It will be beneficial if you possess knowledge in social media trends, analytic tools and best practices!
Other traits:
- Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative idea and translate them into effective social media contents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Able to work independently and is self-motivated.
- Experience managing a team of content writers and designers will have definite advantage.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
