What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities:

• Take charge of governance and leadership responsibilities, including leading meetings and ensuring updated materials and reports
• Support the development and implementation of an integrated project delivery model, while establishing effective reporting mechanisms
• Review capital funding requests and project stage gates to ensure adherence to standards, while identifying opportunities for cost and schedule efficiencies
• Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and centres of excellence, driving improvement initiatives and sharing best practices
• Champion excellence in project planning and delivery, emphasising key factors such as safety, schedule, cost, quality, and sustainability
• Provide coaching and support to project leads, promoting effective communication, consistent reporting, and engaging with stakeholders

To succeed in this Project Delivery Manager (six-month contract) role, you must have knowledge and understanding of construction health and safety practices to ensure a secure working environment for all project participants.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in Engineering or Construction
• Demonstrated experience of 15 years in successfully overseeing complex capital projects and programmes, particularly in the construction of data centre and high-tech complex projects like pharma, hospitals, and labs
• Knowledge and familiarity with data centre construction are advantageous
• Strong aptitude in data analytics and risk management, including the ability to ask relevant questions and assess potential risks associated with projects
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that facilitate successful engagement with regional stakeholders and the ability to influence diverse teams
• Prior experience in business management within the construction sector, including responsibilities such as profit and loss (P&L) oversight, strategic planning, and operational management
• Construction health and safety expertise and knowledge
