About the Team:
This team is part of the Global Customer Service function, where it is at the heart of managing and balancing risk and reward for our global platform. We work closely with all our key stakeholders, such as Compliance, Product, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, and Payment Operations to successfully launch various global products while understanding the associated risks and management strategies for business growth.
About the Opportunity:
The successful candidate will have fraud & risk experience in a global environment, with proven track record of managing fraud risk operational teams. You’ll own the establishment of the fraud risk team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, including recruitment, establishing fraud processes, policies, and procedures/guidelines.
At your core, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. Overview
The incumbent is responsible and accountable for:
All (IT and Non-IT) Procurement activities, contract and supply chain management of the Bank/Group to meet the daily business and operational requirements while aligned to Policies below:
a. Board Policy on Procurement;
b. Board Policy on Pre-Approval Expenditure;
c. Management Policy on Repair and Maintenance;
d. Environmental Policy;
e. Anti- Bribery and Corruption (‘ABC’) Policy;
People and budgetary management of the Group Procurement function to ensure goals and service targets are carried out efficiently in accordance to the target set for Strategic Cost Management (SCM)
The smooth running of the Procurement function and its various sections to support internal customers’ requests and expectations.
Functional (job responsibilities)
Procurement Management:
To lead the end-to-end strategic procurement, supply chain and capacity management to maximize value for money across bank-wide spending by way of:
• Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies, policies, processes and systems required for pre and post contract management including Tenders, RFQs and RFPs;
• Obtaining lowest total cost of acquisition through continuous improvement, adoption of procurement best practices and leveraging on supplier relationships;
• Driving continuous improvement on cost optimization
• Developing excellent and effective collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the strategic and operational needs of the Bank are fully supported;
• Managing spend analytics and supplier performance management;
• Advocating for a zero-tolerance position on corruption and bribery inter and intra team, aligned to the Bank’s/Group’s procurement best practices while meeting compliance matrices set;
• Keeping abreast of more efficient, innovative and cost-effective ways to improve current cost control and work processes and to drive procurement best practices;
• Conducting periodic reviews of the policy & SOP in order to improve its effectiveness.
• To contribute Strategic Cost Management target by derive saving from E-Bidding; Printing and stationery cost reduction; Project Cost Negotiations; Maximize cost avoidance contract renewal etc.
• Promote best procurement practices aligned to the Bank's procurement guiding principles.
• Vendor database maintenance, researching new sources of supply.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
• Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the purchasing strategy.
• Produce regular reports on performance and provide comprehensive management information and in-depth analysis when requested including spend analysis, savings secured and potential savings
