DUTIES

Your role as an Engineering Coordinator / Work Planner & Engineer Scheduler will include:

• Booking all repairs / appointments before arranging appropriate resource

What you'll be doing;

The successful candidate will join the Maintenance Planning & Cost Control Department in SIA Engineering Division. You will be part of the team that oversees Maintenance Planning.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ensure accuracy of Aircraft Maintenance Schedules

• Review all updates of the Airbus/Boeing Maintenance Planning Document (“MPD”) upon notification by QD, and prepare the MS amendment documents (MSA form, Amendment Records, supporting documents, Checklist) for submission to AO for review

• Upon the approval of the MS Amendment, prepare the updated MS and liaise with PDD to update the changes in SAP

• Create bridging tasks as required

• Continual amendment of the MS based on feedback and in-service experience from operational departments, as well as changes arising from retrofits

• Review the list of new equipment created and ensure that PDD creates the MPlans for Hardlife components

• Maintenance plans for Hardlife equipment are created and kickstarted

• Yearly Process Improvement submissions and Staff-Ideas-in-Action (S-I-A) Submissions

Requirements:

• A diploma in any discipline.

• Must have knowledge and relevant experience of Maintenance Planning administration and procedures.

• Well-versed with aircraft maintenance documents such as MPD, Approved Maintenance Schedule (AMS), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Part Catalogue (IPC), etc. to understand task card requirement. The Leidos Civil Team has an opening for a Lead Engineering Planner to support the Federal Aviation Administration via the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV). The candidate must provide facility and program support services to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) Office of Facility Management (AMP). The candidate must provide detailed drawings and design support for space management. This includes design activities for interior space, structures, and facilities. The candidate must utilize basic principles of building layouts, construction, and mechanical systems to assess and plan space solutions within practical limitations. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support the contract as a Lead, being responsible for a small team of individuals on-site at the MMAC as they perform their daily tasks and coordination with FAA management.  This position will back up the Leidos Deputy Task Order Manager when needed, providing oversight of the task order.
• Provide computer-aided design (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup, Archibus) to develop various 2D and 3D graphic representations of space designs, facilities, and office layouts for the MMAC.
• Execute space design support utilizing current industry advances in planning and design theories.
• Utilize basic principles of building construction to assess and plan space solutions within practical limitations. The National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking an Engineering Planner / Documentarian to perform a variety of duties in connection with the preparation of high-profile business intelligence documents for FAA senior leaders, Lines of Businesses, or other external groups. The position will be supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Engineering Services Group in Des Moines, WA and is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the NISC mission.

This position will support the daily operations of the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) Program. FENS is the successor to the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) contract, which was implemented in 2002 to provide over 30,000 communications services to more than 4,500 facilities within the National Airspace System.  The program aims to design, build, operate, and maintain the FAA's next-generation communications platform and to build a dynamic, highly available and secure enterprise network to support all the agency's mission-critical applications across the NAS.

The ideal candidate should be able to communicate to a variety of audiences including Engineering Services, Air Traffic Operations, Technical Operations, and System Operations.  The ability to work in a team environment is critical as this will contribute to the overall success of the deliverable. 

Primary Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:

• Provide documentation support to include historical record of design changes, tracking the status of project activities, project risk, action items, and producing meeting minutes as directed by the project leads to support any airspace and procedures initiative.
• Demonstrate taking a concept and turning it into a product.
• Provide monthly reporting on the projects, meeting notes, participant attendance, as well as providing materials to compile reports and inform stakeholders at quarterly, monthly, and weekly meetings.
• Conduct efficient, organized data gathering and data analysis and must be able to develop reports, establish schedules, and conduct studies.
• Clear and concise general and technical writing, prepare and conduct effective technical presentations, provide thorough project monitoring and reporting, and tactfully coordinate with a variety of project stakeholders, peers, and management levels.
• Actively record important information disseminated in meetings; in-person and virtual and organize that information and translate it into meeting minutes and reports. Transposing of large amounts of data with accuracy and speed.
• Capable of applying MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management applications and know how to use the Internet as a data gathering and communicating tool.

Required Qualifications:

Responsibilities

• Plan and execution of pipe and fibre infrastructure projects, including Common Service Ducts (CSD), Utility Service Ducts (USD), new commercial and housing developments, and backbone Fibre Networks.

• Engagement with various government agencies and utility providers finalise the CSD/USD design.

• Deconflicting management of CSD/USD design and implementation with other infrastructure providers or developers.

• Update Network Inventory records of cables and pipelines according to the planned project and implementation on-site.

• Oversee the project implementation, provide timely updates on the project status and provide assistance to the implementation team.

• Ensuring strict adherence to established operational procedures and engineering directives.

• Conduct acceptance activities to ensure infrastructure constructed is fit for purpose.

• Perform additional duties as delegated by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines, accompanied by three years of relevant work experience.

• Strong understanding of the planning and construction processes involved in telecommunication or underground infrastructure.

• Knowledge of network rollout or implementation would be an advantage.

• Hands-on experience in telecommunication infrastructure construction, with proven abilities in effective contractor management and communication with internal stakeholders, will be an advantage.

The SEAM organization integrates Safety, Environment & Asset Management activities, with a broad geographical footprint, that will support Shell’s business & assets around the world. Technical Asset Operations (TAO), which sits in SEAM, is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell’s Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Chemicals and Products (C+P), Integrated Gas/Renewables and Energy Solutions (IGRES) and Upstream. TAO provides high-quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at a site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes. The TAO teams are located across 4 locations: Chennai, Manila, KL & Krakow.

Engineer -Maintenance for Maintenance Execution and Turnaround work planning is expected to deliver work planning activities for assigned asset. Performing end to end or part of work planning procedures. Performing tasks in various tools and using CMMS- computerized maintenance management system (G-SAP) for work planning. preparing/developing work plan/comprehensive work packs of various equipment. Data analysis and data modifications in CMMS and other tools to improve the work planning process. Preparing work plan for “Preventive Maintenance”, “Corrective Maintenance” and “overhauls”. Using digital tools for efficient delivery.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Primary responsibility in preparing/developing work plan/comprehensive work packs of various equipment like engines, pumps, compressors, turbines etc., and static equipment like columns, safety valves, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers etc. Review of overhaul reports, maintenance reports, general task list, equipment specific task lists, spare part list, equipment drawings, circuit diagrams, P&IDs, operation, and maintenance manuals of OEMs.

• Planning of end-to-end work orders to enable efficient scheduling and ensure compliance of executable work orders.

• Perform various transactions in SAP/G-SAP to execute Preventive Maintenance/Corrective Maintenance, material management, services & other activities.

• Constantly engage with site maintenance leads, original equipment manufacturers, vendors and modify the work packs as recommended/required by the site maintenance personnel.

• Understanding the functions of the various equipment and instruments and thorough knowledge of reading/ interpreting the engineering drawings (P&IDs, PEFS, PFDs).

• Participate in Maintenance Execution Team network and share key achievements and challenge.

• Be a team player and assist other colleagues in the team.

• Sound understanding of business/process workflow and having mature mindset to deal and behave under tough/challenging situations.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Required +3 years of overall working experience in Oil & Gas / Oil Refineries /Petrochemicals Industry as field maintenance engineer.

• Maintenance, troubleshooting experience in rotating equipment: pumps, compressors, steam-turbines, gas turbines.

• Experience in preparing the maintenance work instructions, task lists, work packs, work, and manpower estimation for major maintenance/overhauling of the rotary/static equipment.

• Hands on Experience in Plant Maintenance Area as an engineering/end user of Maximo EAM / SAP PM Module/ Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)/Document Management System etc.

• Skills in Data analysis and data integration (using VBA, Power Query), and visualization (using Spotfire, Power-BI) are added advantages.

• Experience in applying Continuous Improvement methods for process improvements is a good addition.
