The Paralegal I is an entry-level paralegal tasked with providing legal support for DaVita Integrated Kidney Care and DaVita’s value-based care initiatives. This position presents an exciting opportunity for an individual to make meaningful contributions to the legal team while emphasizing continuous learning and professional development. The candidate will cultivate foundational legal skills through drafting legal documents, communicating with internal clients, database administration and contract administration. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide legal administrative support to attorneys, contract managers and paralegals in various health care contracting activities.
Draft contracts, letters, memos and general correspondence using existing templates or forms.
Conduct quality checks of contracts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Route contracts for signature using DocuSign and/or Adobe Sign.
Ensure final agreements, amendments and legal documents are correctly stored in appropriate databases.
Maintain corporate records, legal databases and archives on an ongoing basis.
Respond to internal requests for information, records or other documents.
Learn and follow current processes and procedures for maintaining workflows applicable to clients and/or attorneys.
Create and distribute regular status reports regarding progress on projects.
Work on special projects and initiatives with members of the team.
Participate in department activities and contribute to a teamwork environment, operating according to agreed-upon expectations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred.
Previous paralegal experience and working in or with health care companies is a plus.
Experience with DocuSign, Adobe Sign, document management systems, and Salesforce a plus.
Previous cross-team collaboration experience is a plus.

The Judicial Administrator/Paralegal is directly responsible for assisting a federal circuit court judge with an extensive variety of case-related and professional administrative tasks, as well as overseeing the management of the judge's chambers.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Judicial Administrator/Paralegal's duties include but are not limited to: Preparing reports and formal case-related documents using various computer applications and the Internet, managing and organizing financial data, screening telephone calls, managing the judge's schedule, making travel arrangements and preparing travel reimbursements, and serving as liaison to all other court support units on behalf of the judge.
The Judicial Administrator/Paralegal performs administrative duties with the Court of Appeals which require the highest level of quality. Must be able to exercise tact, good judgment, and initiative on a daily basis. Ability to learn various court administrative processes. Superior knowledge of English grammar and ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing). Must have excellent personal computer skills and a desire to engage technology.
