What you'll do:
⭐ Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
⭐ Knowledge of revenue recognition and deferred revenue (or unearned Income) and the accounting treatment
⭐ Responsible for monthly intercompany reconciliations with related parties
⭐ Perform timely and accurate review for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for submission to management within stipulated timeline
⭐ Review quarterly GST reports and returns
⭐ Preparation of Balance Sheet schedules
⭐ Preparation of financials for the annual statutory audit and assisting with the audit management
⭐ Liaise with external auditor, tax agents and bankers as to support audit, tax and other statutory requirements
Who you are:
✅ Possess Accounting Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certification ACCA/CA is a plus
✅ At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in handling a full set of accounts
✅ Experience with cloud Accounting software such as Xero and/or Quickbooks will be an added advantage
✅ Good knowledge on accounting double entry, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
✅ Professional proficiency in English. Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
✅ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player
✅ Self-motivated and proactive; able to work meticulously under tight deadlines
