What you'll do:
As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in conducting projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, planning, and budget goals are met. You will liaise with various stakeholders within an international environment, aligning your resources with business targets to meet the bank's objectives. Your ability to anticipate risks, manage resources effectively, communicate changes efficiently, and set relevant controls will be crucial for success in this role.
- Clarify client needs and translate them into rigorous requirement lists
- Identify standard and project-specific deliverables, key assumptions, follow and mitigate risks and issues
- Anticipate compliance/regulatory requirements early in the project and inform stakeholders of such risks and measure their impact
- Define, measure and report project KPIs with the right level of information
- Identify right resources within teams and coordinate project team members
- Report or escalate any significant risk and issues to Sponsor and local management for appropriate action
- Create, review or adapt existing processes to make them more relevant, efficient and optimal
- Communicate any changes to Sponsor with the right level of information and manage to get his approval
- Follow, report budget actual/forecast to project stakeholders and local management
- Set relevant controls in place to ensure that what has been delivered meets validated requirements
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this IT Infrastructure Project Manager position brings a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a CIB banking environment. You possess functional expertise in project cycle management and methodology along with hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure's main components. Your strong project management experience, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and practical knowledge of virtual technologies in batches and SAN environment will be key to your success. Additionally, your experience in Network, Security, Storage, Database, Workplace, Telecom projects coupled with strong MS Project and Office suite skills will be highly valued.
