This secondary school is based in the Stockport area, and they are looking to add to their team with the appointment of a Senior IT Technician on a permanent basis with the successful candidate reporting to the IT Manager. The school is easily accessible via both car and public transport, and you will be joining a well-established support staff team and will become an integral part of the team. Your new role
As Senior IT Technician, you will report to the IT Manager and be responsible for providing a high level of IT support across the school, maintaining the IT provision and working closely with end users. On a daily basis, you will be responding to all service desk requests from end users, and responding to these in a timely manner and resolved efficiently - these requests could be related to hardware, software, networking or for specific educational technologies. In addition, you will support with AV equipment, CCTV, printers and various bespoke systems to the education sector, therefore allowing you to further develop your skills. This is a hugely varied role which will allow you to gain advanced experience in various areas of IT and become part of a successful IT team providing a high level of service.
