• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a robust portfolio showcasing proficiency in both disciplines. Prior experience with messaging products, SaaS solutions, enterprise management systems, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Arts or a related field.
• Expertise in UX methodologies, including user research, usability testing, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Proficiency in UI design principles, using tools such as Figma, and familiarity with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure design excellence.
• Demonstrate strong logical and systematic thinking abilities, enabling the analysis of complex problems and the development of structured solutions.

• Team management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, and proficiency in Mandarin is required for the role as the successful candidate will be required to work closely with Engineering teams based in China.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to deliver elegant experiences around payments. As an investment platform in 5 countries, it’s core to our business for users to deposit, transfer and withdraw their funds with ease. This role reports to the Head of Product Design. We value clean design, speed of execution, and support one another to grow as designers and individuals.

This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Execute across the full range of product design skills, from initial flows and wireframes, to polished mockups and prototypes and more
- Lead research projects using a variety of methods (surveys, interviews, usability testing and more) to understand and advocate for users in the design process
- Dig into data to evaluate, experiment and optimise designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Technology, Product, Business Intelligence and more to define problems, identify opportunities, prioritise features and more
- Maintain and expand shared design systems
- Give and solicit feedback often with stakeholders and fellow designers
- Raise the bar for product quality in terms of impact, ease of use, and improve team processes

Requirements
- A solid portfolio that showcases your design process and polished output. We will evaluate actual work experience much more than the number of years (approximately 5+ years).
- Communication skills (verbal, written and visual). You’re comfortable articulating your design rationale, presenting complex flows and documenting decisions.
- User research skills and experience.
- A track record of collaboration, stakeholder engagement and time management.
- Critical thinking skills. You ask questions and think analytically to form your own viewpoint.
- High proficiency in design tools and processes (user research, usability testing, etc). We use Figma, Dovetail, Maze and more.
- Prior startup experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Creative design development & interpretation. Designer responsible for executing original artwork. Responsible for taking designs from initial concept to production level ensuring that design specifications meet manufacturing criteria.
• Provide effective correspondence with internal & external business contacts.
• Build customer satisfaction. Collaborate with end users to address their needs through quality design service.
• Work directly with sales team to develop solutions by conducting meetings and presentations with designers, architects and end users.
• Self-manage the design process from start to finish. Initiate aesthetic sense and intuitive understanding of design and color principles. Ensure that key dates / deliverables are met. Adhere to tight deadlines while managing creative work on multiple projects.
• Conduct market research, tracking and evaluating color & design trends emerging in fashion, furnishings, surfaces & technology. Apply this research to personal development & as creative resource for new designs.

Requirements:

• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experiences in Arts / Creative / Graphics Design / Interior Design or equivalent.
