Job description
As a Risk Management Facilitator, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limit to: -
1. Check and Control activities on site
2. Prepare Work Schedule
3. Coordinate with other disciplines, Sub Contractor, Client and Supervision Consultant to review design and construction risks
4. Coordinate with other departments like Design, M&E, Archi etc. to troubleshoot the issues
5. Lead and guide the site engineers, supervisors and foremen on construction activities
6. Manage the Subcontractor and ensure the works are executed in accordance with approved Method
7. Statement, proper Safety Procedures and Quality System
8. Assist the Company on all risk management issues
9. Provide regular (monthly) updates on the appropriate risk control measures implemented to eliminate or reduce identified risks
10. Obtain approval from Reporting Supervisor/ Project Manager/ Senior Project Manager for the implementation of risk control measures
11. Ensure that the Risk Register is prepared and maintained in accordance with Code of Practice.
12. Responsible for conducting Risk Assessments within the scope defined by the RM team
Job Requirements:
Degree in Civil or relevant Engineering (refer to Client requirement)
Minimum No. of Working Experience (10) years
Possess BizSafe Level 2 Certificate and Design for Safety (DFS) for Professional Course and passed assessment.
Software Skills
(i) Reasonable exposure in safety and health for construction especially on transportation infrastructure projects in a similar nature to this Contract. And
(ii) Attended the DFS for Professional Course and passed the assessment, or equivalent, and either.
Be a registered PE or Architect with a Practicing Certificate or
Have ten (10) years relevant experience in the design (at least five (5) years in design which includes contributions to designs, writing specifications) and the supervision of the construction of structures; and
Have a degree accepted by PEB or BOA and construction related degree accepted by SISV and SPM
Others (if any) Good local knowledge and understanding in construction safety, health and local authorities’ requirements
