ACADEMIC FACULTY APPOINTMENT: The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine
A Lecturer, Medical Education at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is expected to make a major contribution to the education mission of the School. The appointee will join a team of medical educators to shape the future of education by leveraging technology to create interactive and effective learning experiences. Responsibility includes collaborating with peers to develop and design new courses and course design plans. Specialist knowledge of digital tools and content development expertise in digital learning is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The Lecturer, Medical Education is appointed by the Dean, LKCMedicine. The primary focus of this role is postgraduate and continuing education. The appointee will join a multidisciplinary team to shape the future of education by leveraging technology to create interactive and effective learning experiences. The appointee will contribute to the development and delivery of engaging and effective online and/or face-to-face learning experiences and curricula, facilitating discussions, and guiding students through the learning process. In addition, the appointee will contribute to creating multimedia learning materials including videos, interactive simulations, and online assessments to enrich digital learning experience. The appointee will also contribute to other areas of medical education, ensuring alignment with educational goals and outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities/Activities
The key responsibilities include:
· Designing and delivering online and face-to-face teaching and learning
· Evaluating the effectiveness of learning
· Fostering and maintaining relationships with external and internal partners
· Educational Project leadership/management (e.g., working with colleagues to develop and design new courses and course design plans)

The level of effort for this appointment is at 1.0 full time equivalent (FTE) employment.
