About Our Client
My client is a up and rising global manufacturer of adhesive used in the hygiene industry, for adsorbent hygiene and disposable hygiene product like baby diaper, period care and adult diaper.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join my client's team to develop the South East Asia region. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in understanding our company's strategy and working towards achieving both short-term and long-term goals. Your primary responsibilities will include developing relationships with potential local key customers and effectively managing key customers within the South East Asia region, including some international clients.
Experience selling to end customers in the hygiene industry, that manufacture adsorbent hygiene and disposable hygiene product like baby diaper, period care and adult diaper is a must.
Job Description
Strategic Alignment: Understand the company's strategy thoroughly and work towards fulfilling short-term and long-term goals set by the company.Customer Development: Identify and develop potential local key customers within the South East Asia region. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with international customers, understanding their unique needs and preferences.Customer Management: Maintain and manage key customer relationships, including international clients, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.Market Intelligence: Actively collect information on the Southeast Asian market, analyze and collate data, and provide timely suggestions to the company for making strategic adjustments.Profit Maximization: Utilize our product portfolio, total solutions, and pricing strategies to ensure the company's profit margins are consistently achieved.Resource Oversight: Take responsibility for cost of sales and expense control, manage accounts receivable, create accurate sales forecasts, and report changes in market demand in a timely manner.
Business Development: Proven track record in business development within the regional market, identifying opportunities and driving growth.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, material science or equivalent
Over 5 years of business development experience, and proven track record in SEA
Possess strong self-motivation and a relentless internal drive to achieve targets.
Show a high level of stress resistance, maintaining composure and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
