About the Role
Accountant I, II, III positions at TD SYNNEX encompass various roles focused on financial management, reporting, and analysis. These positions involve responsibilities such as daily and monthly accounting processes, financial analysis, reporting, system utilization, reconciliation, customer support, problem-solving, process improvement, and documentation. Accountants collaborate with different departments and may need to identify areas for process enhancements by researching and resolves items impacting the financial statements.

Processor reviews incoming Vendor price announcements and manages these announcements within a shared email location.
Requires follow up with Product Marketing and/or Vendor contacts to secure additional data points or clarify existing data points.
Processor may also audit and review system generated price protection claim proposals and must submit claims to Vendor’s within the filing windows.
Assists in the collection and dissemination of financial information
Processor reviews resulting data and determines which changes will be submitted after additional review of large percentage changes.
Position requires audit of supporting documentation for appropriate source and applicable data for current purchase price, MSRP, and effective date.
Attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and ability to audit incoming claims for specific criteria is critical.
Processor will be pulling large amounts of data from multiple sources and attention to detail is needed to evaluate necessary changes.

NATURE OF THE JOB
• Independent and able to manage Account Payable, payment term and assist in the preparation of cash flow forecast.
• Reconciling account balances to ensure accuracy of data.
• Analyzing account balances/financial data for planning /forecasting.
• Individual must be capable of scheduling own work and close AP within the scheduled closing timeline.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES
• Ensuring vendor invoices and intercompany transactions are captured in ERP system.
• Processing & auditing staff expense claim.
• Processing cheque & TT payments to vendors and intercompany.
• Processing staff expense reimbursement.
• Ensure that accruals and prepayment are reported in the accounting records in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with Company recognition policies and applicable GAAP
• Following up on outstanding POs with ISR and FS Coordinator.
• Prepare Payable Ageing report for management.
• Maintain Intercompany balance positions, reconciling with other group companies on a monthly basis.
• Prepare expense details for Corporate Tax filing.
• Process withholding Tax during vendor payment and prepare and file withholding tax to IRAS
• Prepare data in month-end and year-end closing for financial and management reporting e.g Stravis
• Maintain Fixed Asset Ledger and GL entries.
• Filing of GST return.
• Prepare the reconciliation of various general ledger account balances on a monthly basis
• Prepare variance analysis of SG&A expenses after month end closing
• Prepare statistic reporting to government agency
• Consolidate and prepare adhoc AP Regional Reports requested by Finance Manager or AP Controller.
