Job Summary
• This role is responsible for strategically engaging in the development, implementation and governance of product support or solution portfolios throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with pricing strategies and seamless service delivery. The role collaborates globally to implement innovative services and solutions to meet evolving customer demands and drive profitable growth. The role analyzes the business to proactively identify errors, root causes or areas of improvement, thereby driving process enhancement efforts and business performance. The role also establishes and manages service level agreements, while also engaging in mentoring lower-level employees.
Responsibilities
• Takes charge of planning of product support or solution portfolios throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring alignment with pricing strategies, seamless end-to-end service delivery, and readiness for sales, along with their associated processes.
• Collaborates across regions, geographies, and global teams to formulate and implement innovative services, solutions, or programs and their associated processes to address evolving customer and market demands while promoting profitable growth.
• Contributes insights based on service data to drive increased sales opportunities, leveraging data-driven strategies for business growth.
• Represents services within product or solution portfolio core teams and incorporates service requirements into various product development stages, including activities like product warranty support and cost analysis, as well as the development of content and collateral for service product marketing.
• Conducts thorough business analysis, identifies root causes, and formulates recommendations and solutions to drive enhancements in business performance.
• Utilizes both technical and business acumen to lead complex cross-functional initiatives with significant impact on the services business.
• Establishes, implements, and manages service level agreements, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Prepares marketing materials to support key customer account teams, enhancing customer engagement and sales efforts.
• Applies advanced subject matter knowledge, leads, and contributes to complex projects, and exercises independent judgment in resolving business issues and establishing policies.
• Develops and builds productive internal/external working relationships and may provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in service business management, delivery, solution architecting, business planning, or a related field.

The pay range for this position is $93,345 to $170,688 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. We are seeking an experienced Account Manager, Technical Sales to work out of a home office and be based around Los Angeles, Riverside, Anaheim and Pasadena, California area. You will be responsible for growing market share throughout the manufacturing sector, focused on FARO's 3D Metrology portfolio. Relocation is not available for this position.
The salary information for this position has a compensation package of On Target Annual Earnings (salary + variable pay) ~$160,000.
How you will make a difference @ FARO:
Generate sales revenues by performing product demonstrations at selected customer sites or utilizing web-based demo capabilities.
Evaluate customer requirements, including installation location, mounting requirements, customer engineering drawings, CAD data, GD&T and inspection plans.
Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
Utilize all available resources including sales management, Inside Sales Specialists, Applications Engineers, marketing and others to advance and close sales.
Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities, processes and systems.
Provide feedback to FARO R&D for product improvement.
Act as point of contact and provide technical support to potential customers during the evaluation period.
This position requires:
Minimum 3 yrs. proven and successful track record in sales of Capital Equipment/Industrial Sales
Knowledge of CAD
Ability to work independently.
Ability to travel extensively within your assigned territory.
Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record

The Opportunity
We are looking for a senior software engineer and/or engineering manager with a strong understanding of 3D graphics application engineering, familiarity with CPU and GPU architectures and a deep sense of software craftsmanship to take on the responsibility for overseeing a team of Graphics Software Engineers in the design, implementation, and deployment of our next generation multi surface collaborative 3D graphics software for creative professionals. We believe this new product will play a key role toward achieving democratization of 3D content connecting flagship creative tools like Photoshop and Illustrator to
this new product.
We are a tight knit team developing state-of-the-art software and delivering robust, fast, and resource-conscious components to product teams.
Our team will closely collaborate with Adobe's UX design and research teams to turn groundbreaking ideas and technologies into shipping features.
